These messages are getting far away from the topic, the NRA.

My 10/22 is not an assault weapon, regardless of the stock. I reckon you could be killed by a .22 but I sure would not want to be in a fire fight with one.

How many posters on this thread have been in a fire fight with assault weapons?

dave, i'm glad you made it through the fire fight, but if you got into another one tomorrow would you want to be limited to seven shots at a time or as many as you could get?

btw, no fire fights for me. i fired missles!

I'd rather be in a fire fight with a 22 with a drum magazine than an "assault" weapon with 7 shots.

Now back to the topic at hand. The NRA sucks so bad they killed the largest outdoor show that decided to ban the display/sales of ARs.
http://washingtonexaminer.com/nra-b...79#.UQFiKr_AexV
yep Dave, they have no strength anymore...over 170 vendors pulled out with them.
Looks like you have again gotten caught with your head in the sand.

Yep, I did get away from the topic but was trying to compare the two. Rance said i failed in the comparison but coming from a guy who can only see oneside of the argument....I guess.

track, don't sweat it about straying from the topic. What does dave's 10/22 have to do with the NRA? Oh wait, maybe the topic should have been ALL ABOUT ME by DAVE.

I have seen it lots of times, guys selling their dogs and guns cheap because they lost their job or their wife left them. As soon as the corporate thieves get through with you, they will be the only ones having any guns.

There have always been abortions, there will always be abortions. Making it illegal doesn't stop anything.

If you need an assault weapon, join the Marines. I think a good Drill Instructor would make a big change in some of you guy's attitude.

Ole goofy Dave hunts Champions, most of you hunt non-producers if you hunt dogs at all.

I have a 10/22 Rugar that has a "military" style stock on it (I didn't convert, it was like that when I aquired it) that is a great squirrel rifle. I reckon I should spend a little money and buy another stock for it but the current stock doesn't make it an assault rifle. It is just a squirrel gun. I have another 10/22 that has a factory stock on it I use for coon.

No mention of NRA but then at least we've learned ole goofy dave hunts champions and most of you hunt non-producers if you hunt dogs at all.

If u compare what happens in a gunship to what goes on in a abortion clinic than u are a mental midget

Naw comparing what happen when people like you are trying tell others how they should live. Where did i use the word gunship, talking about the gun industry and the abortions. Please break it down to show where the two don't compare, intelligent one,all see and knowing.Y'all are always asking for more than y'all are willing to give.

first off, where am i telling people how to live? and 2 the first and most obvious difference in an abortion clinic and a gun shop is with a gun shop both a man an a woman can buy a gun, i dont believe a man can get much out of going into an abortion clinic. 2 with each gun transaction in a gun shop, the likelyhood of a death resulting from it is atronomically low, with an abortion clinic it is almost guaranteed a death is going to happen. i mean are you really trying to go down this route, surely there is a better argument than this luaghable statement you just made.

i guess i shouldnt battle with stupid, you are just going to beat me with experience.

Your 22 has nothing to do with the NRA unless you are acknowledging that you have it because of the NRA.

TRACKnTRULY

Sure would be nice to hear you libbies eat a little crow. Seems like only yesterday but its been a few months since you were telling us that our concerns about gun controll were nothing more than rightwing propaganda, its a shame those old threads are gone. As we spend the next 4 years watching our freedoms being stripped , our country sink further into debt, and our standing in the world community decline. Please step up to the plate and tell us how proud you are to have supported this administration in its efforts to destroy this evil capitalistic system, that nasty free enterprise system that fails to provide equally for the ambitious and slackers alike. And above all 7 or 8 years into this socialists reign please continue to remind us that it is all bushs fault.

I can see why normal folks don't need real maching guns ... we all accept the fact that we don't need and shouldn't have bombs , grenades , missiles and stuff ... it's obvious that stuff it too dangerour and not needed for the pursuit of hapiness or whatever.

And the non-machine guns that look like one are just to dorky to be lawful ... you gotta be off in the head to want to be out hunting and pretending you have a machine gun when it aint .. that's the first sign you should fail a background check .... same as showing up to a driver's test in a tank ... epic fail !

But , the government and antis are too sneaky ... they manipulate that stuff and use our fears to push their agenda and other stuff through ... so of course we should fight those laws because they still aint the right way to make the streets safe.

Yall argue all day , every day and for the most part probably agree on the bare bones of gun control if you could word it yourselves honestly and quit ranting and raving over every little news broadcast you see ... yall are being used and baited into taking sides when most of us are actually on the same side.

Lots of ways. Stealling pensions has been a biggie for a while, price fixing, price gouging, insider trading, well, the list goes on and on.

The current biggie is how the banking corporations caused the current reccesion by fraud, cheating, and lieing.

I see where the President named a new securities prosecuter. Maybe she will send some of the banker rip offs to a place where they can be some gang banger's wife. It would be justice.

Banning Guns.

You think we are worried about a ban. Imagine if your hobby wasn't coon hunting. Say you were into those field trial shooting competitions. 1,000's might lose the hobby/sport they love as they know it. That's a shame, those guy aren't criminals. Mostly outdoorsmen like us.

Good thing all a coonhunter needs is a .22
