I Like

If you go back To Lester Nance,James Merchant, Duane Clark Mr. Paul Gregg{stylish originater}. Lonnie Mears. Mr. Motley You can see Where alot of todays strains come from. Going back and getting a shot of these gentlemens Blood would surely help Most breeders today.

Sackett Jr. blood with some Lipper thrown in whether it be through Hayes or Nailor seems to work.

Joe House hands down. Used to go with my dad to Joe's house back in the 60's and buy a pup from him. Loved to hear him talk about hounds and hunts. He never run another mans dogs down, always had good things to say about everyone elses dogs. When u went to his house u could always bet if he bred it at his house it was out of a coon dog. He never bred a gyp for his personal use that was not a coon dog. We had pups out of Houses Chief, Tom Tom, Clint, Lawyer, and Lipper. If a dog does not have these blood lines up close, they will not be used in the brood pen here. Will not have any Nailor in them on a 3 gen ped! Just my oppinion. thanks Roger

you don't see very many finley river dogs any more because they are a dieing breed people hunt tree dogs now not finley river stuff

Posted by walkerman588 on 07-22-2005 04:08 AM:

my opinion

now i havnt hunted every bloodline in the walker breed and ime not saying this is the best but the rebel blood out of west virginia is throwing some pretty nice hounds. i have a 18 month old pup out of the rebel jr dog that is doing great, my buddy also has a littermate to her and is doing outstanding also. he also has on just over 2 out of the old man rebel (daltons midnite rebel) tha has 2 wins toward night champion an is an outstanding hound aswell.

Clover and Cafe

I like clover breeding on top and some lipper on the bottom as well. I also like some Hard Rock cafe blood which goes back to Nailor, Rattler, and Bozo. then you got Pocket Rocket and lockdown lassie in there to. On the bottom got the Purina Race winner of 1986 Hicountry Nite Heat, with some lipper to. These are the pedigrees of my male and female!!

I have done the research and stand by what I posted.

I've heard this before and would like to know more about it.
