Ellie should be ready about the middle of this week to be bred. Its seems that the cross has been a great success so we are gonna make it again. Pups will be PERFORMANCED!!! Call Spencer or myself "Clayton" if your interested in booking a pup. 573-795-3880

Hey Jim,

Do you think those pups will be competition worthy? Do you have any recent pictures of Boomer? Wondering if hes still dark red.

Boomer

I think Boomer will be the right type for the hunts. My son has him at his house and is hunting the hair off of him by himself. He is working weekends so I haven't got to hunt with him for awhile. My son can't hear good enough to compete, but he is an excellent trainer and only hunts dogs alone, that is what it takes to win, lots of alone time. I probably won't put him in one until next year. You save lots of time and money if you wait until they are two and I have a couple females to compete with this year.
Rowdy is a nice little pleasure type dog, my buddy owns him now, I think he will try him in the hunts, he is making a good tree dog, needs to hunt a little wider.
I will get a picture of Boomer on here as soon as I can get a day off through the week to go hunting with him, he is darker red than Rowdy, Jim.

Boomer

I took about 5 photos and they all were poor. I can't get used to the delay, you think you got a good photo and when you get home and look you catch them between barks or moving and it's blurry, oh well I'm not a photographer but this is what Boomer looks like now. He doesn't help much as he doesn't do very much barking after you get to the tree, Jim.

dozer

i've been hunting dozer hard in last couple of weeks, treed 3 coons friday night, all but one was by himself, saturday night four dog cast had a hard time get away from the other dogs,he went 1.5 mile in the hills got treed but i couldn't hear him,my bubby sitting at the truck could hear him and he was there for over a hour,he thought something had happen to me because dozer treed so long.price you pay for hunting a hard going dog in the hills and hollows.yes clayton it took a couple of hunts to get him back to himself after being with ellie. lol

Rowdy

I traded for the Rowdy pup back from my buddy, been having some nice cornfield races with him. I'm spending a lot of time hunting him by himself, and he is starting to hunt out wider. My buddy that had him walk hunts and I think that kept the dog hunting close, I just send him from the truck and wait, sometimes I don't have to wait very long ,Jim.

glad you got him back, sound like he's got more hunt than we thought. dozers only breed a few females but so far they seem to have a lot of hunt, I know the two female I have do, I like to have few more female breed to dozer, I thank he has a lot to offer, things work out like to come and hunt with them. thanks jim for given them a chance
