I'm starting to think that Matt Turner guy has some bad mojo going on.? After my near header off that farm bridge into that pile of rocks in the ditch and now your leg. Matt might need to think about taking out liability insurance on his hunting partners.Tom take care I know how it is not being able to hunt as much as you like. Thanks to all for the well wishes.As of right now I'm on crutches and stiff.Keeping plenty of ice on it and waiting to get in to the specialist on Tuesday.Pretty swollen and can't move it.The knee doesn't seem to have any support from side to side and keeps wanting to buckle so I'm not planning on getting good news on Tuesday,but thanks again for the best wishes and I'll let you all know as soon as I hear something back from the doctor.

I've had 2 MRI's in the last year and a half.If you've never had one there is no pain involved.The noise did seem to affect my inner ear and made me a little more unbalanced than usual.You'll find out if you are claustraphobic also.The tube they slide you in is a little confining.

Just got in from the Dr's office.Might be good,might be bad,time will tell.Torn cartledge on the inside of knee,torn cartledge on the outside of knee,torn ACL,and cartledge tore from the bone on the back of knee causing bone chips.Have to let the bone chips heal for 6 weeks and let everything else run it's coarse in healing.At the end of 6 weeks if the ACL will hold and not buckle my knee,we can fix the cartledge tears,get a good brace,and go from there,that is best case senerio.If the ACL is to damaged then it all will need fixed and that could be a lengthy process.I did get an ok from the Dr.that if I felt up to it I could try and get out alittle on my 4wheeler for a DROP or TWO(well maybe three)LOL.Gonna take it easy for a few days till after my favorite neice's wedding this weekend and then go from there.

Don't rush it I had torn cartilage in my knee and if u over do it it won't heal. Nothing like what ur knee is but list take it slow

Left from the house here the other night on the 4wheeler and made 2 drops and treed 2 on the outside with Image.Knee got stiff quick and 2 drops was all I wanted but coon seemed to be running everywhere.On the way home I seen 4 on the roads.





Finally off the crutches for good and been out and about the last few days trying to help what little I can for my neice's wedding this weekend.Trying to work the knee in slow but still favoring it pretty heavy.I don't really trust it yet but we'll keep plugging along and hope for the best but it's better then those dang crutches!!

Got out again last night and turned Baby Six twice,put one down a drainage ditch red hot and in a field tile.Dropped her again and treed on a large oak but never seen anything there either.2 drops,no coon seen,but I was glad to get out there for a few drops and so was Baby Six.She is full of herself right now and wound up tight and was glad to get out of the pen for a while.

Baby Six and I took a little ride on the buggy last night for a few drops.Most of the time I can ride right to the dogs on the 4wheeler so I'm still trying to get out a little.My knee is pretty unstable and I just can't do a bunch of walking but it is nice to get out of the house for a bit.Ended up looking at 3 singles and while shining the last tree it popped out on me.To the ground and down for the count.Holy cow that was bad!!It's not knowwhere near as sore as it was to be up and walking on but when it pops out it will definately send you to the house for the evening.Got a check up on the 26th with the surgeon and was still hoping for just the cartledge repair and a brace for the ACL but I don't know if that's gonna work out or not.I can't take to much of that.Might have to just take the summer off,say hell with it,and have it fixed.


The only thing I know for sure is I'm ready to do something cause this is driving me crazy.
