Dale

There is a male pup coming to your part of the country. It will be owned by Marty and he goes on here under the name of Heidimarty. His name is baby Cruise and he is out of my GRNTCH CH Briar Creek Cruise Control and GRNTCH GRCH Triple D Rambling Rose female. He is a dark red and is a little over 7 momths old. Cruise is a real well bred pup and is going to make a fine hound. I will be meeting Marty this weekend in Ind. I was going to keep Cruise but I want my blood all over and he will have a good home.

Rocky Rocky Rocky

Hey im all about the Rocky breeding...the more Rocky the better. Theres a Rocky grandson out there puttin more Speck breeding out than u can shake a stick at. His name is White Cloud. These White Cloud dogs will make coonhounds and reproducers.

All Grand Pedigrees

To have an all grand pedigree is fine and dandy and all but i want a hound thats good in the wood not just on paper.

Posted by CritterGetter on 01-17-2005 06:26 AM:

I am thankful that there are people in the English breed that are willing to help others. I started coon hunting at 13 and just hated it by the time I quit because all of the empty promises of future champions(redbones). When I got out of the Army I wanted to start again so I started looking at English. Make a long story short, I got a male out of Rollin Rock. He is gone now because he was as mean as a rattlesnake. I mean rough!
But now I got a nice young female out of Cabin Creek Rowdy. Well, she shows alot of hope. She can tree a coon but needs alot of work. She would make a cur seem like an open trailer. I talked to Jim Ridge and he said he would help me in anyway and he did. He sent me a nice male out of Zeb. He quit puppy playing at six months and means business. Thanks Jim!! I owe you big time.

Hey critter gitter, what female is that pup out of?

Posted by Incognito on 01-17-2005 04:09 PM:

Trying to keep an all Grand pedigree going is a big mistake, try your best to get an all coondog pedigree. Look at the walker breed, there are a couple of good lines that have dogs that you can breed and get all grand pups , but most of the best crosses and lines of dogs arent even close to all grand, and they just keep winning and winning and winning and winning.

Posted by triple d on 01-17-2005 08:12 PM:

Incognito

Not if they match into my English hounds. All I can say is you are hunting the wrong dogs. I do not loose to very many Walkers. It is the English dogs you have to beat. I know of a few guys with good walkers but not many. I guess diff. places there are diff. hounds.

Gentlemen

We will be having a hunt on Feb. 18, 2005 in West Union at the middleIsland school. I invite you all to come and enjoy our sport with us. We will have a bench show and a nite hunt. There will be food and drinks. Please feel free to come.

Eric

All you have to do is get in the car and come on down. We need all the hunters we can get. It is going to be cold and tracks will be hard to run. The old hounds will do a little better at treeing coon on nights like this. I just hope it is not to bad for a hunt.

Youth Hunters

The W.V. State Youth hunt will be on the 25 June 2005 at the Marshville club. I would like to personally invite every youth in our area to come and show, and hunt. We will have a treeing contest. The kids will eat for free. We will try to have trophies for all the kids to win. I hope everyone can attend.

Stud dog owners

W.V. State Youth Hunt will be 25 June 2005 at the Marshville Coon Club. This is a totaly free event for the youth. Any youth form any state is welcome. Our club has big plans to show the kids a great time and help boost the futuer of Coon Hunting.

The entries will be totaly free. The food and drinks for the youth will be totaly free. We arte going to see that every youth that enters the show or the hunt gets something.

Here is where we need your help. We are going to ask for donations of Stud Fees or pups. We are going to list every item on line and be collecting them until the end of March. Then for 2 weeks in April,We are going to have a Silent Auction on line to sell these pups or Stud Services. The money gained form this will go totaly to the youth that enter the hunt in the form of Prizes. For example, New Lights,Maybe a box, lead strapes.collars, and so forth.

We are hoping to attract Kids for all over the country.

Here is your chance to Promote your Studs and help out the Kids.

I would love to hear any feedback.

I encourage people who donate to post pictures and pedigrees on this thread so people can see what they are buying.

If I can be of any help please call 304-623-9788

hey don...

you think you'll be promoteing you're stud?

Posted by triple d on 01-23-2005 02:39 PM:

Eric Mueller

Yes I know that all of my stud dogs will be on here for a free stud service. I have given a stud service from Casper, Prowler,Joker, and old Flash if he is not to old to breed . He is 10 years old but I think he will be able to breed a female. He is a old hound but a good one. I will also give a pup if we have one at the time. I try to help the kids anyway that I can and I think this is a good one.We will need all the help we can get. We need ideas from people who have put on the youth hunts before because we are first timers at this. If you have any ideas please let me know. I will do my best to see to it that every kid has a great time.

Don,

I would like to Donate one male pup out of Timber Valley Annie
to the youth hunt. She will be bred this spring/Summer and Cody Marsh will get half of the pups. I will donate one pup out of my half to your youth hunt.

I know you are familliar with this female, she is the one you had a chance to buy as a nt. ch. Pete Thompson made her a Gr. Nt. Ch and she is back in Iowa now. If you are intersted let me know. She is a full sister to the #1 reproducing English Female Timber Valley Ten.
