My Reunion with Gauge 2-2-10

Would like to thank Kevin for trusting me to turn him loose tonite. I have to admit I was a little nervous. Turned ole Gauge loose and he shot in the dark as always and got treed in fairly deep. Walked in and he was treed on a den that I have treed on many times and the way he drove that track in there I knew when he located up he had the coon hangin. Here's a video for ya Kevin!! Enjoy it because I sure enjoyed having him on the end of my lead once again!! Thanks, Danny G.

Gauge doing his thing!!

Hole in den tree!!

Man I miss having him here!! Were still froze up but starting to get reports of coon tracks on the snow around creeks from the coyote hunters. Thanks for collecting him and breeding the female for me!! LOL you thought you got away from that!
Thanks again

I am very sorry to hear about your luck with sodie pop!
I was truly hopin to see some Gauge/Sodie pop pups someday .Good luck with the pups!!

Kevin

Thank you Kevin. I think Gauge & Sodie would have crossed well myself. Still got 8 pups for right now. Those little dudes are flat stretching me thin. I hope several will pull through. It is still touch & go at this stage of the game. I will keep everyone posted if some do make it.

Danny I talked with Jeff.
That is a Hillbilly x Lady female he is considering breeding to Gauge. I guess he is 9 hours away from you.
Thanks for the hospitality last week I enjoyed our hunt even if it was a blizzard.

Kevin

I didn't think we had a chance in #$ll of even treeing a coon but I guess we got lucky and got one treed and seen it on the outside. I enjoyed seeing ya again as always and it was nice meeting Scott. I can't wait for this snow to melt off so I can get these young hounds in the timber. Here's a real short vid of that nite. Camera was getting soaked from the snow so I made it short. Later, Danny G.

Kevin

I got my new light today and matched it up against my 28 Volt Blazer that I just took of the charger. My new LED Nocturnal Addict light over powered it and wasn't even fully charged. I plugged in my new light and it has been charging for and hour and still going. Going to use it in the timber tonite and see how that goes!!

New Led is the one on the left!! one on right is the 28 volt spotlight plugged into my Blazer box light!! New light ways 1 and 1/4 lbs. pic is from 28 feet from wall
