Five minutes
I hear alot of people gripe about how scores can't happen and if you know how to guide and not hunt your spots to death its really not that hard. I heard a guide at the michigan maddness complaining a guy scoring three coons by itsself in 20 mintues. Lets see, give 18 minutes of hunt time used on the first two drops and you have two minutes left to hunt. Its not that uncommon for a dog to tree a coon up there in a couple minutes if you know what your doing and that way the five minutes you half to wait is not a factor. I scored 900 plus in a pkc hunt at the spring classic when it was in Bucyurs in the first 40 minutes and the dog split 4 times from the other dogs and once with them. Of course the second hour fell apart, lol but I still won with 775 plus. Just saying big scores arent as hard to get if you take good care of your competition hunting spots and of course we all know there are a lot of written up scores but it dosent mean they can't happen. Oh yeah, it helps to have a coon dog on the end of the leash too, lol, or hope someone in the cast does.

Im not saying it didnt happen cuz I wasnt there but the trees must have been close together and the coons mustve been staring dead at their hunting lights to score them that quick. Them coons mustve sure enough been ON THE MOVE!
My best was in 92 at a AKC world Qualifier in Wyatt, Indiana
My Diamond female had 1475+ and 225- for a total of 1250+
next was my Chief dog with 1175 + at a Bellevue MI RQE the cast had Jackpot Jackie who had 1150 + and a Harry male with 1125+ We split treed so many times no one new the score till we added it up at the truck. Best hunt ever.
I had two others in MI around 1025+ and 1050+
2009 Blutick days High Scoring Walker and 1st place Gr Nt with 975+ All with Ole Chief. I miss him more than anything. Ill never reach that caliber with a dog again.
