Matt the buck dogs generally go back to Vaughns Bluejack . The Mack dogs go back to Vaughns Bawler. Biggest difference, the old timers swear the Mack dogs make better tree dogs. The Buck fans Know the dogs make tre dogs, but were harder going, a little junky and track dogs first.

Sam Littlejohn had a dog named Buster out at the 2004 Fall round up.I have pictures of the hound.Thought he might be a full brother to Rock and Bawls, younger litter. Also Oscar thomas Had two male, Bawler and BoJack out of Arkie and Queen.Bawler died of coondog paralysis. Bojack lived to produce his Jughead dog. These hounds pack alot of the old breeding. If thats what your looking for I'd call the man, cause he's Vaughn to the Bone!!!

Also, Oscar had a female he called Bubbles, out of Bounty Hunter Mack..... Who was off of Mack II, and her momma was a skinners Blue Rattler gyp. He had her at Sam's gonna breed her to Arkie when she died. I had one booked off the cross, and I usually dont get wound up about the "Vaughn Crosses" but that cross had me fired up. But it never went down and that sucks, cause I think that would of really helped the breed.

I'm still way new to all this, but that cross between Star and Arkie II should be real good...

It's tempting me... but I've definitely got to stay away from anymore hounds for at least another year...

Yes to the Uchtman blood, but that part of the Uchtman blood carries alot of Perryman and Smokey River dogs...

Buster was a littermate to Bawls he passed away a few years ago a man in missouri( Tommy Boiles)bought him from sam.

really, I lucked into a pedigree on him earlier, and I sont see any Perryman, or smokey river in there, can you elaborate, maybe, his mothers three generation ped??? I have heard she was a great grandpup of diamond jim, but would like to see how she goes about it, as for the perryman stuff on his botom side, I would like to see that also, I know he has a shot on the top, but on the half uchtman side I wasnt aware of, thanks.

the buster dog that sam had at the fall roundup in ok is still alive there where 2 dogs named buster tommy owned the one that died i have the other one here in missouri
