Good morning. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day. The sun is shinning and supposed to be a high of 82.

BB - Congrats on the dove hunt, sounds like you had a bunch of fun. Our Bow season starts Sept. 29th. It is usually too hot and the mosquitos make it unbearable.

Heather - Sounds like yesterday was your lucky day. Sometimes when I stop for gas I buy a few lottery tickets. I have never won more than a few dollars but I keep dreaming..........

Heather & Corky - I think all of us that have had hounds for any lenght of time have had a skunk problem at some time.

Hello corky !! I hope you've had a good labor day so far !!

Dan and John ... I just want you both to know that I have enjoyed you both being on the thread !! So glad you have joined us and stayed with us each day ..
My Lindz had a dream the she won 400.$ on the lotto a few months back .. Sure enough after a couple of months she called me.. Just a talking ... While scratching her ticket .. All of a sudden ... She got real quite .... I said Lindz .. You still there ??? Are you ok..? Hahahahaha ... Then she screamed .... MOM ..MOM .... I WON !! ... She had won 500.00 !! Lol .. She will only play 2 tickets a week .. If she plays .... She told me the other day that she said a dream she won a large amount ... Hahahahaha .. So we're just waiting ... Hahahaha ... I'll make sure we tithe on it and be happy to give my coon hunting friends a share too .. Hee hee ..

Heather .. You have been very busy !! You are a lot like my self .. I never slow down .. After cleaning the lake house before we all left ... Me , Lindz, and Christian stopped my dads to wash scout .. Thank goodness he getting better.. And then came home to cleaning out Lindz room.. And cleaning all carpets !!! I have stuff every where .. To go to goodwill !! I just need a truck and some help.. I'm also giving away a couch and set tee.. I don't sell any thing I have .. I just give it all away .. What a day .. We didn't get finished until 1:30 last night ... Geeee ... So I know how you feel ...

Hi there Friends!

What a day! lol... it is all a blur...
Bob got up WAY early to get Dylan to college...I asked as they left WHAT are you forgetting, Dyl? He thought and decided Nothing! lol... ten minutes into their ride he texts to let me know what he forgot...and to leave it for Bob to pick up and bring with Brandon for trip two.... Bob is really proud of self on way home cause he picked up the catfood I needed and...LOL.. ALL BUT the flavor I absolutely needed for my old indoor basement kitty ScairdeyCat! LOL... He comes home, helps Brandon load up the trailer...and off they go.... AND... then Kennys Brother, and three kids and Kenny and Jess all show up for a visit after Daisy grooming(SHE smells AWESOME now! thank goodness..sofanot so great yet...LOL... Indoor dogs not always Great!)... SO anyway my brain is now dead from visiting(cause stuff I love tends to do me in now).... but I had a nice time seeing the kids again. We had Alicia here for months but I had not met her lil bro. Christopher who was a delight. He is in sixth grade and CUTE as can be(chick magnet!)...and nice too. The baby Riley has grown tons and pretended she didn't recall me...for a while but finally couldnt stand it and was all over me! We had a great time and the dogs were SO happy. Christopher learned that Webster LOVES to sing so they did a WHOLE lot of his Human sounding Woo Woo Woo! lol... and the baby started squeaking along....
Bob finally got home...with the correct catfood too! I had him pick some more of his amazing tomatos and we had them with oregano and salad dressing for dinner. AN I will confess a bowl of Ruffles tater chips each too...
It was another GORGEOUS day, not too hot or cool. Tomorrow some rain on the way...maybe for a few days?
SO... I sit here watching tv and on here...Bob dozing off and WE ARE CHILD FREE! No empty nest syndrome here! Our GOAL and JOBS in life are to raise independant kids and...it MAY be working after all! WOooHOoo!
Corky, the pix are awesome and the day looks like it was a GREAT lazy one!!! BEautiful place AND company! The flowers are beautiful too!
Shannon, lol... funny about the lottery stuff and the cleaning too...kind of....

Morning All

had a good time at the cabin with some work thrown in on occasion...heard a couple of hounds races that were suppose to be bear chases but well you know....maybe

went down with a couple of youngester and watched them catch some bluegill and small bass I am not sure who was wetter the fish or them two by the time we were done...LOL dumb me forgot the camera when i took them down there

Did find some of this stuff growing around

Hope everyone is up and at them this wonderful Tuesday morning...thought the yellow jackets had them Hokies last night, even think they had the fat lady singing but Va Tech pulled it out in the end...Yee Haw!

It's so good to finally get a health warning that is useful!

INVOLVES THE SHAMPOO WHEN IT RUNS DOWN YOUR BODY WHEN YOU SHOWER WITH IT. WARNING TO US ALL!!!

Shampoo Warning!

I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner! I use shampoo
in the shower! When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my
whole body, and printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this
warning: "FOR EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME."

No wonder I have been gaining weight! Well! I have gotten rid of
that shampoo and I am going to start showering with Dawn dish
soap instead. Its label reads:
"DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE
DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."

Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone, I'll be in
the shower!...
