Roy,
Looks like the Smoke pups are starting to show up in the winners circle on a regular basis.. I feel that there will be many more before he is gone, I hope people don't wait until its to late. Ole Smoke has what it takes to be a winner (and he has proven it) and he has what it takes to be a reproducer (he is proving that now). We will be reading about Smoke and his offspring for many, many years.

Roy / Timmy starting next week Little Hanna will be in the woods every night. Hell she will be 6 months old I think July 18th so she is ready! Let me tell you she has the go power, never looks back!

Dustyn Bloxham put a first place win on Bloxham's Owl Cr. Smokin Wendy in Oklahoma last night. She is out of the first cross on Smoke X Wendy. Said she looked pretty good. Congrats on the win. She's making a nice gyp.

Thanks everybody for the congrats on the wedding. We're starting to hunt again now that every things slowin down a bit. Picked up a litter mate to Deal last week that's running and treeing. We call him Skidder. Got a good mouth and looks like he's got a lot of potential.

Roy /Timmy here is a couple updated bad pictures of Hanna. She is well on her way and is just turning 6 months old. She is starting to run and tree on her own and will now be going with Riptide or Smoke every once in a while. Hope to have some pictures in the woods and on the Wood this week of her is all goes well. She has a clear chop mouth that you can hear a long ways!! Oh threw in one picture of Riptide as he too wanted some attention today!

Roy here is a short video of Hanna on her first kittens. Her first dump tonight with Riptide she kind of got it handed to her as when Riptide hit the big creek she hesitated for a bit and she got left out for a while and the old man had it! Second dump it was crazy, treed three kittens up the bush she was on and seen six kittens and two old ones in three bushes that were all running together, corn fields and wild cherries are being hit hard now! Hanna was giving a little extra mouth tonight but she was wired 440 as the first dump in the corn field we dump right out on it and off to the races. Not bad for not being (6) months old yet!

Roy / Timmy tonight is going to be Hanna's first drop by herself and see how it goes. Going to turn loose by some Cherry trees and a corn field they are hitting on. Hope to see a tree at the end but who knows, 6 months old is old enough right? LOL! If she can't get the job done we will have a little help on the next dump to keep her mind focused!!!

Hanna

Good luck tonight. Hanna should do allright considering how she has started allready. I think she is a chip off the old block. Her momma and daddy loaded her up with what it takes even at 6 months old. Let us know how she does.
I got a couple of coon trapped and am going to work Hanna's bro and sis in a night or two. Well as soon as I can get Timmy back over this way to help.
I blew out the rotater cup and pulled loose a tendon in my shoulder so Im a little on the disabled side by my self right now. Haveing surgrey friday.

Emily Shine bred her Sara female to Smoke and has two females and two males for sale. Pups were born 07/05/14 big healthy blue pups.
Sara is a super nice young female that Emily has done a super good job with in the woods. Emily is a teenager that loves coon hunting and loves her blue dogs.
If you are interested in these pups give her mother or myself a call. Sara is a super nice female and crossed on Smoke these pups should have what every coonhunter wants. Drive, Move a track with their head up and awsome tree dogs.

Roy the first dump tonight with Hanna, she went about 75 yards real quick into a corn field and struck and ran the snot out of it and took it to the woods / jungle and had trouble. Turned the old bitch into her and she got it treed and seen it but let me tell you it was rough! Second dump was with Pockets and they slammed one about 200 yards from the truck, ran good and treed good at times. Third dump they got in there about 650 yards and treed in an old hollow tree, Hanna ran real good and did better on the tree. Pictures will come when she deserves them! She still has not came back one time from drop to tree, she has heart to spare and can really move a track for a 6 month old pup. I see the switch coming on real soon!

Smoke

Corey, Hanna is going to be a nice one. All of these pups out of Guage and Robin are doin great. This fall will get them goin good enough to single out for kill season.

Had my shoulder operated on last friday and getting along fair. Doc said Ill be in a sling for six weeks and therepy for 12 .

JR Wall from Savannah Mo. brought his Susie female down to breed to Smoke. She is out of the old Smokey River Grover dog. She should take by the first of the week.
Super good and stout Smokey River breeding in this cross.

Have another female comming down from Iowa this week to see Smoke.
The old dog is enjoing retirement.LOL

Still waiting on Wendy to come in heat so that we can breed her to Jet V. I keep putting her next to these femals comming in to smoke, hope to bring her in.

By this time next year I should be sitting on top of the world with awsome females in my kennel. This will give me a couple out of Smoke and a couple total out crosses.
Ill be able to cross back on Smoke and on a son out of smoke.Plus Ill still have Robin and Wendy as the matrons to go in any direction that we want.

Roy her is a couple pictures from last nights hunt with Hanna and Riptide. Made two dumps and two trees and seen one. They treed this one on a deep river bank and was a long way down! When Hanna is right she looks good! Hanna deserved a picture last night and even learned some manners along the way! LOL! And less than 7 months old, but then again that is what is expected!

Smoke

Jason Shulte came down wirh Mis Fire and visited Smoke. We made a few dumps saturday night with young dogs out of Smoke.
Fiirst dump was with Donk and he worked a track out of the corn and treed with 5 sets of eyes lookin down. Next dump was with Deal and Robin they ran a short one to a den. Next dump they worked a corn field and treed two lokkin down. Deal really came on the tree and looked good.
Jason had to leave so we called it a night.

JR Wall brought down his Sue female to see Smoke but she was in a false heat and went right back out as fast as she csme in. JR said that this wenter when she comes back in they will be back.

Emily Shine still has a couple of pups out of Smoke X Sara for sale. Sara is out of Harry Darby's Striker dog. These will be super nice pups.Give me a call at 620-224-7555. She is asking 200 for the pups and still has a couple of females and two males.

Nice looking Pups Roy! Is the time getting near for Wendy? Hoping for it to happen soon. Been too hot to hit very hard this last week but planning on going to Labor Day Classic Friday and Sat. and try our luck, can't win if you don't go and can't loose if you don't go!

Im keeping a close eye on Wendy but I think it will be Oct. or Nov. Her heat has always been wirhin a week or two of Robins.I think she missed her heat in may but will be comming in this fall.
Hey good luck this weekend.
Been way to hot to hunt here also.
We are waiting on my shoulder to heal and a little drop in the temps so we can start working young dogs again

Wendy

Just as soon as I said that it will be a little while befor Wendy will come in she proved me wrong. Wendy came in this last Sunday and we have everything set up to AI her to Jet V semen.
Mark and Corey have shipped the straws and they will be here friday. She should breed by thursday or Friday.
Robin came in heat yesterday so I now have to decide if I am going to have her bred or not. If I do she will be out for the kill season. If we do decide to breed her she will be bred to our young male Deal. He is out of Smoke X Blue Berry cross. Deal is makeing a super nice young dog that does it all in an exceptional way. He is a first strike run hard first tree young hound that does it as hard as he can. Deal and Robin are so much alike in they both started at 4 months old and leave you in a dead run, drive a track hard with their heads up and quick stay put treeing machines.
Cooler weather is headed here and my shoulder is healing up so Im looking forward to getting back in the woods next week.

I think the Robin x Deal cross will turn out far better than expected, that cross will bring some of the best old Mad Dog blood to the top of the bloodline. If my health was better I would want to be at the top of the puppy list............Tim
