Had a fun weekend at National Redbone Days in Brazil, Indiana! It was a very hot and humid weekend, but we made it through and dogs did as good as could be expected. The club grounds were awesome, it was a great place to hold a big event like that. We enjoyed visiting with everyone, catching up with old friends and meeting new. Thanks to all that helped out with the handling of dogs or kids or both. And thanks to the host club & it's members, as well as the members of the NRCA for putting on a great event. Congrats to all the winners, owners, handlers, and participants......win, lose, or draw I think we all had a great time and made the best of the hot and dry weekend.

Had a fun time and good hunt at the Governor’s Cup Qualifying Event yesterday in Highland, WI.
Chief won grand final line and tree in the field trial and grand final line in the water race.
Willow won final line in the field trial.
Chief also took second place open register in the night hunt and this qualified him for the governor’s cup.
This was also my wife Amanda's first time spectating in a night hunt.

BASS FISHING

I grew up spending my summers fishing Sidie Hollow. I miss it. I hope to make a trip up there yet before Summer's end. In the mean time I've found a place 40 min from where I live now that reminds me a little of Sidie Hollow. The other day I caught a pile, fishing all day long. Here's a pic of one of the bigger ones I caught that day.

I am far from a master the fish just seam to get snagged by the mouth. And Brandon come on home so i can give you some lesson's lol. I get lazy and don't go if there is not someone to go with. Maybe the lake is to far away ( its only a mile away).

Don't remember what the judge's name was either. It was the first time I had met him.
We had a fun hunt and had a good group of guys in our cast.

Got a couple updates.....

Chad Theis sent over his pictures from last hide season. He has Daisy (Clyde x Boo pup) and Maverick (Clyde x Ann pup). Sounds/looks like they had a good season.

Also, Josh Wilson and David came over last night for a visit. They brought Josh's 6 month old Digger (Rip x Joy). He is a good looking pup, with a big horn for a mouth, and he can really run and tree a drag. Josh is looking forward to getting him in the woods this fall. Keep up the good work with him, Josh!
