Good morning!

It is overcast here with rain coming. Today's high is supposed to be 69.

Shannon - Lindz and your dad both have very nice looking horses. I hope the rain quits for you so you can catch the big one.

Heather & Shannon -Thanks for sharing the horse stories with us. It was enjoyable to read.

WB & BBB - Those red dogs are looking good. Thanks for posting the pics.

shannon send us some of that rain, ponds and creeks are mighty low, these showers we get are just enough to keep the grass growing, we need good steady rain for a few days. Well bear chase season started yesterday, i may go listen to a chase one morning. hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. see ya.

Going back to the original post, I'm having a great time up here in southwest Pennsylvania visiting the girlfriends family. They make sweet tea just like mine. Night time temps about 59 making me want to go coon hunting. If anybody is hunting close to Bentleyville Washington PA. Tonight the 12, 13, or 14th please call 843-893-8344 I'd like to tag along.

BUSY weekend and all was good! FANTASTIC visit with Mum! Got to get all sorts of GREAT info about her out of her which is NOT easy!!!
The dog we were going to have to take in for BnT rescue found a HOME and was adopted Friday! SO HAPPY! We would have given her a GREAT home.... but we did NOT need another dawg!
We retired our gamecams as of today... I really get burned out going thru the pix. We moved the feeders to RIGHT next to the house...LOL... so I PLAN to get some pix from time to time of birdies and maybe the coon will come too? I"m hoping this means I'll get back on here more often! I feel I've missed way too much...
Dan W... I'm hoping that NOT doing the cams I will NOT see a BEAR like the one you pictured...LOL.. I probably would have eventually since they are in neighboring towns... and I"m a big baby when it comes to bears!
Ummmmm.... OH, Yeah, Corky! CONGRATS to the granddaughter and hubby! That is a BEAUTIFUL picture! Bob agreed too...VERY nice.... Hope they have a great future together.....

Dan .. I sure do wish I could send you and James some rain !! I sat in the jeep for 2 hours waiting on the rain to stop .. We even had some, places that flooded a tiny bit ... I've enjoyed and loved the rain being here...Grass is green too .. I didn't get a chance, to get back to the pond and fish after waiting 2 hours in the jeep ... It was still raining .. I almost got the jeep stuck at the bottom of the pond bc of soooo much rain...I did have a good time .. Took a nap in the jeep while listening to the rain hit the roof of the jeep ..

Corky .... Oh my goodness .. I sure wouldn't want to do that kind of fishing !!! I'd be scared to death !!! I'm not sticking my arm some where I can see ... That's some brave people .. Lol ..

Good morning all. Finally a night below 70, I hope it stays like this for awhile. Supposed to be in th 80's during the day though.
Corky, Congrats on your granddaughter getting married good wishes for many years of happiness.
No show this weekend, I am planning on going to WV Friday and Saturday night to show and might hunt one night while I am there. Might just go to the old stomping grounds and pleasure hunt some.

My youngest son Christian started his first day of middle school this morning !! He was so nervous and excited that he couldn't sleep last night .. The bus sure does run early here ... 6:00 !! 50 mins earlier than last year .. Geee !
I'm praying he has a great day !! He was sweet to hold my hand this morning and said a prayer as I drove him to school !! I'll be thinking about his day , all day long !!
Here is a pic of him at school .. I couldn't get a hair cut app. Till Tuesday . Lol.. These kids are wearing there hair a little longer these days .. But I told him he needs it cut for football .. He'll be to hot !!! Lol .. Oh .. He's playing football and made the QB position !!!! He's got a ..."heater" of an arm !! He's happy about that !!!! He's simply a sweetheart !!

shannon thats a good looking boy, middle school is a big jump for kids nowdays, my grand-daughter is going in the seventh grade this year, they start the 22 august.
