Thank`s Jim,I`ve been working on it while being couped up sick.I haven`t coon hunted since friday night and been on vacation so you know its bad.I want to be 100 % for the battle so I`m trying to stay out of the damp air.with the meds and plenty of fluids I`ll be fine.
Money and add will be sent in friday.Thanks the pups are doing good they sure eat enough on that self feede.Ive gave them their second 5 way and dewormer again.they are real nice.

Hey Matt, I finally got the time and weather to take Angel out last night. After 45 miles of rigging and roading, 2 den trees, and then 3 trees in a row 27 lbs 24 lbs and a 16 lb. She still needs a lot of hunting but she looked good last night. Ken

December coon

Ken,

That is a nice catch for December in this country. I only managed 2 the same night. 5 trees 3 dens, and 2 nice boar coon. Ended up with 3 nice ones last night. Rigged 35 miles struck 3 times treed 3 times shot 3 coon. Ive been adding some late season coon to the fur shed, but had to barrow your Tramp dog to do it. It sure is nice to have the use of a hound like him. He gos deep, cold cold nosed, and stays treed wether it takes 10 minutes or all night for me to break ice to him. It is also nice to have one that handles so easy. I think you should breed him to Angle and put me on the list for a pup or 2. I get a chance Ill post some pics.

Ken,I hope it all works out.I really appreciate you giving these hounds a chance.Ill keep you posted on the stinger female.she yours just have to get her to you.
I loaded the box up tonight with Kid, Mae, Sunni.All three looked good all night.I like hunting Kid and Sunni together Mae needs exposed to a few coon and Kid is the perfect hound to put her with.i did get to knock two coon down to her and she treed on both trees.I think she will be alright with a little leg work.I dropped sunni by herself and she treed two singles and did a good job on both.I wasnt forsure how she would react when I recut her.she is just like her daddy get treed again quick.then I drove up the road and turned sunni and kid together.they both drove a track in and had the meat again.beautiful tree hounds thats forsure.my lite died on me.I didn`t charge it since I left ohio to go to Ok.so it was due to run out of energy.I like what Im seeing out of a few young dogs I have.if the weather takes it easy on me I`m gonna put my two young stinger hounds out for a few drops with kid and see what happens.thanks again.

I ve been busy here my son is home on leave.we are enjoying our time with our families.I`ve been trying to keep a few young hounds in the timber.treed ten coon on the outside last two nights out.thanks for all the phone calls and I sure hope all had a great Christ mas.

Ken and Sandy,I m hoping we ll get together before to long for a night s hunting.Its good to see your hounds are doing good for you.

Glynn,hope your puppies are doing good.I really think Kid is one of my all time favorite hounds he is so much fun to hunt.nothing fancy,just a quick action packed hound. good luck in the future and take care.

My daughter and her friend came over tonight and we took a little hunt he had never been coon hunting before and didn`t even know what it was.after the third coon he said I see why you like this sport and wanted to know if he could go again.I told him all hunts don`t go this way and we are blessed with coon.so it looks like he`ll be wanting to tag along again.My daughter well she is a dead eye with a gun and didn`t miss a shot tonight.she used to go with me all the time it was good to here her stories and her version on the hounds of the past.well until next time.happy hunting.

Well Kid and Powder is off to a good start she has 6 pups.3 males and 3 females.most are colored up like Powder.I would bet these will be some hard tree dogs.I wanted to double stinger up.I think this will be a good cross or i wouldve made it.I have a couple pups not spoken for so if any body is interested they have as much ol sage as ol diamond jim in this cross.I think Kid has the potential to be one of the best reproducers of any that i`ve had here.so i m giving him the chance to prove it.I really fill good where the Kid and Fly pups ended up.well so much on that I just wanted to bring my thread up tothe top I havent been on here a hole bunch.
