Howdy folks! Was a nice warm day here today. I even went outside for a nice long wander... Few flowers blooming, even forsythia! lol Some Autumn colors. Was nice to get out there........
Good to see Dozer getting himself ready to work! I played the ELvis etc...while Bob was making popcorn... his late wife, Shelley was a HUGE fan! He is still really sad about losing Webster and I didn't think he could hear emotional Elvis without thinking of Shelley...Webster etc....
Well, Everyone have a Great Night! If I don't fall asleep watching tv...I might be back to see wassup!

I know what you mean about emotional Elvis !! My dad was and is a HUGE fan !! So am I .. I get teary eyed every time I hear that song .. He was such a great man !! Love him more than I love Rob Thomas !! Lol !
I'm soo sorry to hear bob is still upset !! Geeee I still cry over my Molly !!! And it's been 2 years !!! I'm still praying for y'all .. Send bob my love .. And let him know I'm thinking of him and you too !!
I wish I could see the leaves in the mountains this year .. I know they are beautiful !! You should post some pictures of your place to heather .. I loved seeing them a while back !!!

Good evening guys. Middle 60's and rain here today. Only 2 more days of work and the vacation!!

Looking forward to my visitors. I have rabbit hunts planned for Monday and Tuesday and of course 3 nights of coon hunting. Should be fun

I took Buzz out tonight. This was his first time out since the surgery and only the second time since last kill season. He wasn't flashy but he did manage to take a cold feeder track about 800 yards and put a momma and some kits up. After all he went through this summer I decided he needed a reward...........

Still praying for you heather.

WB .. Love the pictures !!!! I'd be scared to let Molly out , with out a leash .. But then again I've never tried it anywhere besides home , dads , and the woods ..

Happy birthday to my sweet Christian !!! He's 13 today !!! he sure is growing up !! I don't even have to wake him up for school in the mornings .. And miss it .. Happy birthday Christian !!

Thank you vablue !!!! I'm doing well .. I got my results back yesterday and they are neg. for the 'c' word .. But the doctor is planning a sonagram in the next week to still search for the reason why I have abdomen pain .. But I can complain at all !!! I'm very blessed !! You are a sweet lady !! Thank you again !

WHAT IS A GRANDPARENT?

Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of their own. They like other people's.

A grandfather is a man, & a grandmother is a lady!

Grandparents don't have to do anything except be there when we come to see them�They are so old they shouldn't play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.

When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.

They show us and talk to us about the colours of the flowers and also why we shouldn't step on 'cracks.'

They don't say, 'Hurry up.'

Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.

They wear glasses and funny underwear.

They can take their teeth and gums out.

Grandparents don't have to be smart.

They have to answer questions like 'Why isn't God married?' and 'How come dogs chase cats?'

When they read to us, they don't skip. They don't mind if we ask for the same story over again.

Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don't have television because they are the only grownups who like to spend time with us.

They know we should have a snack time before bed time, and they say prayers with us and kiss us even when we've acted bad.

GRANDPA IS THE SMARTEST MAN ON EARTH! HE TEACHES ME GOOD THINGS, BUT I DON'T GET TO SEE HIM ENOUGH TO GET AS SMART AS HIM!

It's funny when they bend over; you hear gas leaks, and they blame their dog.

During her physical examination, a doctor asked a retired woman about her physical activity level. The woman said she spent 3 days a week, every week in the outdoors.

"Well, yesterday afternoon was typical; I took a five hour walk about 7 miles through some pretty rough terrain. I waded along the edge of a lake. I pushed my way through 2 miles of brambles. I got sand in my shoes and my eyes. I barely avoided stepping on a snake. I climbed several rocky hills. I went to the bathroom behind some big trees. I ran away from an irate mother bear and then ran away from one angry bull Elk. The mental stress of it all left me shattered. At the end of it all I drank a scotch and three glasses of wine.

Amazed by the story, the doctor said, "You must be one hell of an outdoor woman!"

"No," the woman replied, "I'm just a really, really shxxy golfer".
