From a conformation stand point

Brummy is throwing solid toplines, very straight legg, almost all have nice tight cat feet, almost perfect color and markings, long long ears, and many other things! He is a well rounded hound. Ibred him him to my female. There was many alright choices for a stud, BUT why settle for less? Confirmation and outstanding hunting ability rarely live in the same dog. I wanted DUAL purpose pups, Brummy himself, and 99% of the pups ive seen are DUAL purpose!

Thanks again Clyde for allowing me the honor of using such a well balanced stud and thank you so so much Curt for bringing her to South Ga for me!!!

I talked to Allen Michael English tonight, his Flame pup (BrummyXBrandy) treed a coon alone last week. It was her 4th night in the woods. Flame is a littlemate to Brandon Rabb and John Lucas' pup they call Boomer. Boomer is running and treeing his own coon. These pups are right around 10 months old.

I have known clyde and brummy for right around a year now... meet them both at a hunt here in GA and from the begining I knew there was a couple that i needed to keep close as friends...not only was clyde friendly to me better than any other stranger could have ever been. I talked to clyde he informed me on alot of different things dealing with the bluetick breed and etc... he never toldme from that day that he had a world class dog but he admitted to me just like anyone else would admit that he has an awesome dog in his own mind... then i started asking around and etc everybody was saying the same thing about brummy and clyde that they was a couple to be reconked with... I got my female gyp hooked up with clyde to be hunted in a hunt one time and he fell in love with her... .he todl me that she was just like brummy and form that day on I knew if she was like him... then he must be a heck of a coondawg and since that day the only thing ihave heard about brummy is winning... .just like everyother dog he does looses some noone ever wins all the time if you do let me know... If you dont like a dog soem some odd reason then dont fuss or in most people's words bitch about them... just dont say anything at all if you cant say nothign good.... and yes I have meet a bunch of people thru that couple and have made lots of good decent friends ... that if they needed help I would help them to the highest extent.. and i do believe that they would return the favor... so if you do not believe that brummy has made a difference/ impacted the bluetick breed... then screw you... i know myself he has made a difference in my life and in my eyes he will be a world known bluetick

I worked Curt and my Whip pup last night on a live coon in the net.

Whip was biting the net wanting that coon bad. He's a too young to get bit yet. He treed nice on it and stayed focused for a long time. At the end I took the net away and put it in the back of my truck. Whip stayed at the tree, treeing.

The next training session will be all scent. I'll let ya know how it goes.

Clyde he's finally went back to hunting Lucy. Im telling you what. She's looking pretty good. I watched her trail some up last night. I loved it. I think she's doing the best she's ever done. Gonna be the death of many coons this season I figure

Man I'm GLAD to hear that. I was hoping he wouldn't leave her penned up for too long. Keep me updated on her if you will.

Ed: Thanks bud, I've sure enjoyed hunting Missy. Getting her finished is priority this winter.

Kerry: Glad to hear Whip got wound up about the coon. His brother Tide treed pretty good on a hide last night. Yo-Ho and Swag both are running and treeing on strictly scent. From early indications this litter is clicking pretty good.

I own Swag. He's off the BrummyxDaisy cross. I have never saw a puppy as natural as this. He ran an trees his first drag at 13 weeks (first time this pup has ever been messed with) he hasn't slowed down since.. I've carried him to the woods a few times and he's not scared of the dark at all!! I have a 2 y/o female off of Bodacious and HOTR layup lady and I will be taking her to meet ol Brummy when she comes in!!

Zeb told me a couple of weeks ago Panic would finish quick and it looks like that's turning out to be the truth!

I've said it before but I feel like it needs saying again. THANK YOU to all the folks who are breeding females to Brummy and hunting Brummy pups. Ya'll don't know how much it means to me that you would want to hunt something off him. I've made some lifetime friends through these Blue dogs and I'm thankful for every one of them.

It will be at the Zone 6 Championship next August before I can nominate him, but I'll do it for sure.

I sure have enjoyed Brummy, he's a lot of fun.

These youngins are growing up WAY too fast. Harper turned 2 August 7th, man where does the time go.

The black pup is a McCoins Black River Buddy pup

I loaded these pups in a shipping crate on back of the 4 wheeler hauled them back to the woods . Snared the coon, showed it to them and laid a 30 yard drag and leased the coon up the tree. I stood back out of the way waited 5 mins or so and had Kim and the boys cut loose the pups.
Whip located the coon first with his nose in the air. Followed shortly by the black pup. I wish I had the video rolling and recorded him locating this coon . but I was standing there watching then remembered oh yeah the camera.

I would have liked to singled them out but I only had one coon.

Looking and sounding good Kerry! To my knowledge every pup in this litter is treeing drags. Won't be long and it will be time to hit the timber with them.
