Hahaha you will see when you come up that they will tree a coon. I never said that females weren't good hunters. Still got a long way to go on the house. Still have to buff the floors they are not perfect but are alot better then what they were before.

Thanks Corky I glad yall enjoyed it I thought it was pretty cool myself and they are still painting

I have been researching my family tree and had had some that fought and died in the battle I have read a bunch of books on the history of this area and one of the things I found interesting that I never knew was the British paid the Indians for every scalp they brought to them even the women and kids

David's 7th great grandfather William Mitchell Clay is listed as a death in that battle but he actually died in the days before he and two others was out hunting for meat to feed the soldiers and was ambushed by the indian's and he was killed they also took his scalp he was 67 yers old at the time but before that his son's home had been attacked 2 of his grandchildren were killed and scalped and 2 were captured while they were able the catch up and rescue one of the kids the other grandson thomas was brunt at the stake in the Shawnee camp which is just about were Chillicothe OH is today

you know that maybe why linkous has a bald scalp today

The heat

Willow has not ate since Thursday acting like she is worn out and today did want to get up but she has been drinking water took her to the vet and he said it was heat exhaustion more than likely considering the ride out in a 100 degree weather and and two night's hunting and the ride back he maybe right oh well see she looks pitiful with such sad eyes anyway I told I would give her tonight and tomorrow night off than its back to it she got a big ole lanky son to train

Great pics WB. This heat is terrible, keep an eye on her. Haven't hunted any, but mine are way off on their food. ( Happens every summer). This is one of the reasons I wont use automatic waterers. I like to see what they are drinking everyday.

Well gotta get to work and be back at the court house before 9 so the judge dont send after me.

Lost a friend to a motorcycle Sunday, keep the Curles family in yawls prayers please.

Went hunting last night. Autumn and Summer split treed. I wish that i could see up the trees this time of year. Summer did good and handled the water well not to bad for her 5th time out and only 6 months old.
