No cast win for me tonight Willow looked like she had never treed a coon before 98 degrees when we turned loose at 11 last night 80 now on the way back from the last tree I had to pull Willow across that last bean she was hot and wore out supposed to be hotter today oh wow!!

I know most of you guys wont be impressed impressed because your gardens are so far ahead of ours but I picked my first 2 cucumbers yesterday. Woo hoo!

It was 98 here yesterday and supposed to be 92 today.

Thanks John! We have been picking tomatoes a while now. Four tomato plants is the extent of my garden this year. I think others gardens are in full force right now.

Raining here this morning! 75 degrees. Was about 96 yesterday. 93 forecast for today.

Hi All!

Bob and I took the day off today from flooring etc! It was a Nice relaxing day... I didn't get a thing done! lol! Tomorrow am Bob and I will begin to dehoard the diningroom(the room we dumped stuff we don't use for 10 yrs now...lol... The living room has new floor and it is AWESOME to sit in here now! WOooHOoo!
Warm today but not horrible I guess... I waqs inside most of the day.
Johnny, awesome pix as always! Bob wants to know what the deep red flowers are... I LOVE those!
Gardens... we had out first zuccini today! YUM! Mum got the very first one for her Bday with her YUMMY cake. Thanx for the Bday wishes for her!!!
OH... our sick son... well his "ringworm" looked awful weird when I saw it... HUGE lesions... and we had him call the Dr as soon as he got home. They said COME RIGHT IN and he did and even though his bloodtests came back normal he HAS Lyme disease...and is now on antibiotics and improving but he is one sick boy...so that explains why NONE of us(me) got his AWFUL cold "virus".... AND why he seemed to have menengitis(he did).... His fever is now down too and today he seemed WAY more himself. He IS really achy though poor dear...
Dogs fine, Bob fine etc...
Wanna see wassup and will get back on her when I can!

Morning everyone!

72 here at daybreak. Going to be fair and 94 today they say. Was 94 yesterday.

Looking at the extended forcast, it seems it's going to be a bit cooler next week -- around the 90 mark for highs. I sure welcome that.

Still picking nice 'maters! Cut a nice watermellon yesterday. Store bought! Scooped out what we didn't eat and saved it in the 'fridge for the foxes. We give em a bowl every day along with their usual food!

Have a nice day and don't do nothing I wouldn't! James says that covers a lot of ground, so you're safe there I guess!

About the foxes -- this one appears to be nursing!

Goodness Lord it is hot !!! last week I had to go out and feed the blues some ice and mist them down.. I've been freshing up there water twice a day ! I do think it may cool down about 3 degrees ..

Well not much happened last night I left after about a hour and half and getting in the hot test cornfield I have ever been felt like you was a/c when you got out of that corn at 3 this morning it was still 92 degrees according to the radio
