I really dont know about the rain up there ,all i know the tv news said it was about 70 thousand acres burnt ,i think they said it has been burning since Aug 18 ..

Good Morning Everyone, Not raining now to dark to check rain gauge. Will be waiting for hunt report. Chuck how' the smoke up there this morning? Did you guys see where Quinn made something called a purple paint law where you can paint trees or posts on property meaning no trespassing. Don't see the point in this when you put up signs and they do what they want anyway. Linda

Hey guys. We had three dogs show up to hunt in down pouring weather and windy. It finally stopped and turned out to be a good night. No complaints came in. The only one they couldn't find a coon. No more hunts till October now. You all have a safe day.

Chuck its probably nice to smell air and not smoke, wood smoke is ok as long as its planned smoke. Got a break today Oakwood and Champaign. Jeff and big Moe are gonna run the PKC hunt for Friday nite. Saturday Jeff has to work I may have to hunt single. Can lie like a rug on hunt report and nobody to question it.

Chuck My brother lives in Casper Wyoming he used to go to Alaska and pan for gold. As a matter of fact he gave my boys some small nuggets he had found years ago and taught them how to pan. They used to have a blast in our creeks panning thinking they were going to find the big one but never did.

Ive panned gold in Alaska,Ohio Indiana,Illinios,Missouri and WVa ,,,and id be willing to bet that i can find Gold down your way too!!!
