Experiencing the World Finals was an awesome time.

I wish we could have made a better showing but the cards didn't fall the right way. Brummy didn't look as good as he should have. I won't make excuses for him. I'm proud of what he's done this year and we'll give it our best shot to be there again next year.

A HUGE thanks to everyone for the calls, texts and emails of support. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of people that have been and will continue to pull for this old dog.

Zeb Myers won 4th at Robinson,IL with Panic last night. Zeb is real fired up about getting Panic in the hunts. He feels like she will finish quick.

Clyde, Congratulations to you and Brummy. You guys have had a very successful year. Best of luck to you in the future.

I stopped by the Robinson,IL club Friday night, to catch up on the "coonhunting stories". I seen the Panic female tied out by the truck. She is a nice looking female and was nice and calm acting. Congrats on her registered 4th place win.

Lol. I ask you explain your comment about this dog adding value to the bluetick breed and all you can say is that he has 34 pages on the internet? Lol. Thanks for making my point.

The dog is here for anyone to hunt with. I can't speak to what his value to the breed is. He has a heap of value to me and the folks who enjoy hunting with him and his pups though.

Just curious, what hounds have you bred, owned or trained that have left a mark on a breed ?

Also what stud do you recommend we breed to ? I mean you obviously have advanced knowledge over the rest of us .

See, I've, nor any of my buddies, have ever made the claim that any of my hounds have made a mark on the bluetick breed. However, the claim has been made by one of the owner's buddies that "Brummy has proved his value to the breed...." I meant no disrespect when I asked what has he done. That is a legitimate question. Why say something so grand and bold and not be able to back it up. I am researching and trying to find out about stud dogs and I sincerly wanted to know. But instead of getting facts, I get grief like this.

Bluedog31513 With the "lol's" you used and the "thanks for making my point" Your comment was certainly meant to be disrespectful.

If you feel I'm giving you grief. Maybe if I knew your real name, I would know if you were qualified to disrespect ones hound. Until then I'm left to believe your a heckler hiding behind a username with no location, email or real name.

Thanks Tommy, I sure hate you had the same judge we did. He was NOT qualified to be judging at all.

I'll state it again for anyone interested. I'll cut Brummy loose anytime anybody wants to see him go.

just to chime in here, its tough owning a blue male dog in this day and time. everybody has to outdo everybody. Clyde and Brummy had done Georgia and the blutick breed proud. This is the reason that I have backed off this board. too many people trying to stir it up...all over being jealous.

Thanks Chris, we're gonna continue hunting and enjoying him and pups off him. If somebody else wants to use him that's great, if not that's fine too. I learned a long time ago talking bad about somebody else's dog doesn't do anything but stir crap up and I'm not much into stirring crap up among fellow Bluetick folks.

wtf???

What in the world has happend to this thread in the past few days??? I get on here to post a video and I see all this mess? Chris your right buddy, it is very hard owning a blue male stud dog these days... In the short time I was trying to promote Pride, That was alot of headache and frusteration. Hats off to You, Clyde, and all the other stud dog owners who have been blessed with the ability to let stuff roll off your shoulders. lol.

and to the fella with no name, location, or email address. Let me just help you in the right direction on the matter of what Brummy has done for the breed, ok?

Brummy has proved himself to be more that "just another track grubbing bluetick". He has all the tools to make him a super dangerous hound in these hunts we have... One being he gets to himself alot. Another, his track speed. Another, his consistency. Sure, there are alot of stud dogs out there that may have some of the same traits as Brummy. But I can promise you this, not many dogs out there take advantage of said traits like Brummy does. From what I've seen, I would define Brummy as this... A well rounded consistent cast winning coon hound.. Thats a mouth full aint it? But its the truth. I mean how many other blueticks win 8 out of 11 casts in a single run...? Not many other breeds of dog do either.. Brummy made the top 100 of the world this year. Isnt that statement enough he has left a mark?? From what I heard when we were at the world... There were 5000 original entries in the rqe's. from those 5000, 550 made it to the zones, and of those 550, you get the top 100.. so on and so forth. So you do the math, sir. As far as his pups go.. I can tell you this much, the couple I have hunted with have been real similar to their pops. He seems to be throwing big hunting dogs that dont mind getting treed. Shoot I bred my female to him.. she had 10 pups, raised 9, and from the last I heard 8 of the 9 are treeing off scent and scent alone. they are also not quite four months old yet. The video below is the Female I decided to keep. I like her alot.... there are alot of pups on the ground or about to be born.. Id say by this time next year there will be alot of pups showing up in the hunts, and a few that have already finished to NtCh and or GrNtCh... And I dont mean any disrespect by saying this Mr.Bluedog31513, but maybe you should suit up and hit the woods with ol' Brum? Then maybe you can see what everybody is talking about...
