Have the younger mates to "Patch" yet that I will let go. Two males Now I guess. I been limited to slim & none opportunities to mess with the youngsters I wanted to this fall. Fully intended to be huntin females alone. Good intentions but my body couldn't hold up it's end so I'm hopin'ta be gettin caught up this spring. Overloaded ya might say.

They are just about 6 months. Performance paid & more than ready to hit the timber. One has a saddle back kinda patch & the creamy lite tan trim. Very alert pup's & show some brains. Been perfectin that bein quiet in the kennel thing. Their smart & they get it.

Other male is mostly ticked darker with darker rich kinda tan. I am really fond of both pup's but I am of their littermates "Sonny" & "Cher" as well.

$400 gets ya a dandy pup from a proven cross that produces Dual Gr's. Our second,( Matt's "Moe" female), will finish this year fairly fast I'm a thinkin. Two pups lived outa the first cross. Guess even a tiny litter that has 100% success of makin it happen is our goal & a fairly decent reference.

I apolagize about returnin call's. If I'm not here & get it I have a hard time rememberin. The way mother nature has dictated my travels here on out. Don't be afraid to call more than once. Forgettin is my middle name in the short term memory zone.

You could text me. I have that thing all the time. We are in a poor area for reception in these hills & seldom talk on it cuz of the droppin calls. Actually I would say it is the best way to reach me,textin. Again I apolagize for my forgetfulness.

I'll trade ya a week of mine for one day of yours............

Reading that pedigree still gives me goosebumps and kinda chokes me up. Hunted with and against sooooo many of those dogs. Sure would love one. I'm in Louisville now, so getting closer!!!



Remember this old girl....and remember when we were both sooo young ???? The big 55 is coming quick and that photo looks different now, greyer and more wrinkled. HA.

"Carly" had her pups last night. Not sure on the count or sexes yet forsure. I'll do some pedigree postin within a few days. In the hospital yet for my knee replacement & not sure when I get out?

Sounds like the Downings are doing good all the way round. Russ, my Mom had both knee's replaced and said if she had known it would have helped her that much, she would have had them done years earlier. It will only get better. Thanks for the well wishin! I appreciate it big time! I've heard plenty of good bout'um & I'm impatiently waiting for that time to arrive. This is my second on this knee in 3 months. Already had seven on the other & now its next in line for a replacin as well.

Winter seems'ta have arrived so not much better time to spend gimped up watchin football,dog rastlin matches in front of me on the floor & baby puppies needin care.

If this works I'll be able'ta do some high-speed wobblin !!

Sooo, we are all getting replacement parts, like an old antique truck. Glasses, a hip here, a knee there, missing parts and a toolbox of spare parts. Hang in there buddy, get mobile, and hopefully we can get together round spring or so.
