Come on down to de fridge here in SC. I had to put on a sweater to ride the golf cart out to the coon bucket . I yet ain't seen a Spring like this in my life. Okra still stunted and coons working hard for a handout. They say Spring is over today though. I hope it ain't like flipping a switch. If it is I'll quit and let them lay around like myself.

Afternoon everyone. Been busy around home and with work.
Now it is so daggon hot you can't do anything. Been out of town the last few weeks alot so not many wild hunting or showing tales. Hoping to be back in a routine after the 30th.
I did take the dogs out last Wednesday trying to get my little gyp hunting. She runs around and smells alot just having to get her on a hot trail and Ihink it will click. Had a buddy with me and our dogs tracked for some time and finally went treed, well in a hole anyways. Got up there and both dogs were trying to dig it up so I felt for sure they run one in there. I grabbed my dog and the smell of skunk would knock you down coming out of that hole. We talked a little while and went on to the truck. The good thing is it only sprayed once in the hole so did not get on the dogs.
I hope everyone is having a great time.

Afternoon,

Well my uncle made a turn for the worse last Thursday. Really, it was like he just gave up when it looked as if he was on a road to recovery. Had a light stroke Friday night. Sunday morning his kidneys shut down ( he was a bad diabetic). He had told the Dr.s no dialisys. They removed the feeding tube he had had since the colon surgery Sunday before lunch. He passed Tuesday morning around 3. My 90 year old Grandmother, my Mother and Aunt Mary are doing a good job trying to act strong, but I can see it coming. Prayers please.

BB let your buddy get away tonight about 3 foot long with a big head and thick body not having much luck treeing many of course I a little weak on dog power a13 hear old and a puppy I will say one thing for ole Rascal she want hunt as wide as she used too but she still tree's as hard as Ever I thought she was going to have a heat stroke she was so hot

David not sure how much help your new Velcro Tennis Shoes will be do you think they will hold up to setting in the truck ?
