Cross what you going to make with them crackleberries? HUM

here is one for you...Bond talked me into turning loose Friday night so off we went...old dog struck, young dog opened some on a tree, started to them and old dog left, told Bond I know what that was he said yep dang possum, we walk over to where a bucket was suppose to be and it was down the hill on its side, young dog came by us and started to open on the tree the bucket was in and sure enough there was a possum about a foot long at best...Bond said i got to go to the truck to get some wire, I told him I will take the dogs and go on over the ridge while he fixed that and the possum so off me and the dogs went

Willow got treed with the pups about 800 to 900 yards so I went to look it was a den...after playing with the young dogs I backed up the hill and squalled and one stuck her head out the hole so I squalled a little louder and she came out the hole around the tree and back in the hole...I must have fooled with her for ten minutes doing this it was something I'd say she had little ones in there and me and Willow was aggrevating her to no end, then I thought where the heck is Bond, I guess he figures Linkous can do all the leg work tonight so I hooked Willow up got the pups to come with me and started back...about 100 yards from the tree I see his light, got up to him and of course first question was did she have it...i go through the talk of telling him about the coon and what a good job Willow did on it etc. then I said you fix the bucket, he said yep...I said you fix the possum? He said nope, I said why not? He said well when i got back to the tree it came out and run off! Now granted Bond cant move like he use to but this thing might have weighted 3 lbs soak and wet...And they call him the Great Possum Hunter...Bull Snot

An exchange of TEXT messages between a man at work and his wife at home:

From the wife:

"Windows at home frozen - what will I do?"

Reply by husband:
Husband - "Spray some de-icer or pour hot water on them."

You know who, a few minutes later, sent this!
"Done that, now my computer won't work at all."

Well made it back from English days. Did not put a win on but had a great time. Seen alot of great dogs while there. Now I know more of what I need to do and got some helpful hints from alot of people. Hunted Friday night not so good though did get second in my cast but that was with 150 circle points. Never thought I would see where there were too many coons for the dogs to tree. They was not for sure which one to hit. Had 14 coons in the campground with us so that made for a nice quiet sleep at nights.lol.
Glad to see every one is doing well.

Hi everyone. Another hot and sticky one today. We are currently having a pop up shower so it has cooled off some.

Heather - I survived the first day back to work. It did take its toll on me though. I had to take a nap after work. I am not used to getting up at 3:30 am. I must be getting old. LOL!

ILyle - I am jealous of your garden but you don't have to worry about me moving South those Gators and Snakes will keep me away.

Corky - great pics.

1nighthunter - Good one. I think I better show this one to my wife.

Talk to you guys later.

About a half dozen big Jimmies to the pot every tide change. Blue crabs are about all we have. There are a few Stone crabs you can break off one claw and throw it back to grow another. Crabs taste great but I think I could get skinny eating them they are so much work to get any meat out of. LOL I wish we had the kind they catch on Deadliest Catch.

Hot and sticky again here today.

James - sorry to hear about your friend, 54 is way too young. I am glad things are going well for your uncle.

CB - I would come help with the kennels but Virginia is a long way from Ohio.

A frustrated Game Warden

A hillbilly went hunting one day in Oklahoma and bagged three ducks. He put them in the bed of his pickup truck and was about to drive home when he was confronted by an ornery game warden who didn't like hillbillies. The game warden ordered the hillbilly to show his hunting license, and the hillbilly pulled out a valid Oklahoma hunting license. The game warden looked at the license, then reached over and picked up one of the ducks, sniffed its butt, and said "This duck ain't from Oklahoma. This is a Kansas duck. You got a Kansas huntin' license, boy?" The hillbilly reached into his wallet and produced a Kansas hunting license. The game warden looked at it, then reached over and grabbed the second duck, sniffed its butt, and said "This ain't no Kansas duck. This duck's from Arkansas. You got a Arkansas license?" The hillbilly reached into his wallet and produced an Arkansas hunting license. The warden then reached over and picked up the third duck,
sniffed its butt, and said This ain't no Arkansas duck. This here duck's from South Carolina. You got a South Carolina huntin' license?" Again the hillbilly reached into his wallet and brought out a South Carolina hunting license. The game warden was extremely frustrated at this point, and he yelled at the hillbilly "Just where the hell are you from?" The hillbilly turned around, bent over, dropped his pants, and said "You tell me, expert."

Just wondering

Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety-one?

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does that mean that one out of five enjoys it?

Why do croutons come in airtight packages?

Aren't they just stale bread to begin with?

If people from Poland are called Poles, then why aren't people from Holland called Holes?

If a pig loses its voice, is it disgruntled?

Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist, but a person who drives a racecar is not called a racist?

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, then doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed?

If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?

Do Lipton Tea employees take 'coffee breaks?'

What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?

I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks, so I wondered what do Chinese mothers use, Toothpicks?

Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office? What are we supposed to do, write to them? Why don't they just put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen can look for them while they deliver the mail?
