Rex here is a picture of what use to be here in the holler Keith morgan gave us this picture and said it was the Pete Walters family. Have been meaning to research them but haven't had time. TD says the old woman looks like granny Clampit.

Morning every one. Hope every one is fine this morning. Going to get warm today but then they are saying a good rain is coming. Then cool down. High Thursday is 60's.

cool pic...I'am not sure but I think they were related to the old dog man Kelsey Walters i think that was his parents home place.....he lived south of the 16 bridge and on the east side ,down on the river..very intelligent man when it came to dogs..

Mike, we got a sprinkle this morning up here I don't know about Rex it was darker in the south. Will be in the 60's thursday will you be going hunting?

no rain here,yet,finished a deck today ,nothing for tomorrow.,it was darn hot out there today.

here all day ,then this afternoon when the cold front moved in it brought all the smoke down from Minnesota ,,man its pretty bad out doors now.

Made two trips too Terre Haute today, cool breeze this mornin', but afternoon was a bit warm, I was in the shade with a breeze but get in direct sun and plenty warm. Temperature over there said 87 degrees. Spotty Linda said colored metal is $72.00 a square. What made it smoky in Minnesota Chuck?

Friday is the last day my female is suppose to be in heat. Probably this weekend I will start to hunt. We have a hunt tomorrow night at the club. Carpenters will be here at 9:00am in the morning to start putting all new windows in my house. I am putting another 9inches of insulation in the ceiling and changing some other things out.

We put in new windows last year Mike---made a BIG difference in heat bill. Everyone have a nice day---off to work.

Good morning all, Bust my britches it's raining here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw it scroll across bottom of screen according to the Farmers Almanac this winter will be frigid in Rockies, Northern plains and Western Great lakes

These window are the same ones when the house was built. They are 33 years old. Can't complain about heating and cooling bill. Highest one this summer was $144.00 and some odd cents. Heating bill never go over $120.00 We are getting double pane windows plus they fold out so you can clean them better. I am just glad it is going to be cool today so I don't have to worry about the heat outside. You all have a wonderful day and a better night. We have a PKC hunt tonight and I think those hunters are going to get wet.

Mike our windows tip in too it is so nice. Our old windows were the old wooden ones and leaked air like a sieve had to put plastic over them in winter. I Love these!!!!!! Are you going to the hunt tonight?

I'v put in a lot of double hung window's,I'v had very few complaints ...the way you can clean them from the inside is their best selling point.

I can't hunt tonight. I am the Hunt Director. I get to do all the paper work and drawing the dogs out. The hard part. lol Rex that is why my wife liked them because the way they folded out.

Mike, At least you get to be around dogs and get out of the house maybe will be good for you. Chuck are they supposed to get rain up there to help put fire out? I know it's supposed to get colder. Linda
