Hello to all!

Prayers to ALL esp. you Shannon. Gorgeous pix!
Rough day here...just after the BIG world series win Webster collapsed and we carried him off to the emerg. vet. Long story short...he had internal bleeding from an assumed tumor and was put to sleep as Halloween began.... The lil (big) angel literally waited for the LAST out then got up. It was peaceful but so sudden. We are still in shock here.
When Webster first came here as a sickly dehydrated SAD looking rescue transport... we never felt he'd live nearly nine yrs. As time went on even with the seizures etc... it felt like he MAY live a full life like his family(mostly 15 yrs)... To have him die the same age as my beloved Wyatt was ironic.
We'll get thru. IT'll be rough and WEIRD here.... We WILL have another rescue or foster again...but not till we have thousands to spend on the "just in case" stuff... otherwise it wouldn't be right.... NO REGRETS but I sure miss my pal.... the one I was never going to like...LOL... The toy he treed is up on the mantle with his collar. When his ashes come back (we donated his Body to Tufts Vet school like we did Wyatt) his toy will hang on his box next to Wyatts.... along with that Harley collar....
I'm exhausted of course. Got a couple hours rest today and poor Bob went up the bed before 9. Losing a friend sure sux bigtime... even if they aren't hunting buds they sure are COOL dawgs....

AWWWhhhh!

Thanks tons my dear friends! You are all so sweet and I know that each of you has felt the loss of a hound pal or many...and we all share it don't we? Hound people are special.... He IS sorely missed. I'm kinda worried about the BIG hit Bob is going to feel over the weekend. I kinda wandered around today feeling I had things to do...that I no longer needed. Bob will be lonely but the Prayers will and DO help tons!! The PAWPRINTS.... what can I say?

OK... now back to all of YOU! You are ALL in our Prayers and esp you Shannon as you heal!! Can't wai to see pix of you and your BEAUTIFUL Molly in the woods! Bob was talking about how pretty she was last night, got me talking about how pretty you are, your daughter, your Granddaghter and those CURLS and you r whole family!

It was GLORIOUSLY warm today! Had the door open till a few minutes ago!!! 70 or so. The fresh air... amazing... It also POURED for a while!! THe kitty ventured up into the house for a couple minutes... I paid a million online bills and was EXHAUSTED... I ran my self ragged on the computer with NapInsomnia...and then when Bob got home I was dozing on the sofa. He looked Insanely sad not getting the "WOOoooWOooooWOOooo" greeting at the door..... He sat down on the sofa and I lay with my head on his leg sadly...and the SUN came out suddenly and so strong...RIGHT at us and we both smiled. Webster would have LOVED that moment and wandered outside, we realized that IS where he is...always..........
Will be leaving for mum's a 6:30 am... With the World Series parade...Mike needs to get me in and get out so HE can work outside Boston! A MILLION peeps expected! Akkkk.... Then on Sunday I think the Pats play at home... not sure the time...LOL... HELP!
Will talk to you all next week and will keep you all near my heart this weekend to make me feel better!
