Bill & Larry, Glad your likin them pups! Deffinately on the grow & likin life

Few pups would be as happy livin in the truck like they did for as long as they did. Playful & fairly quiet all the time as long as we let'um race around on the tailgate & in the other side of the box. Water bottle the main entertainment for them.

In the mean time we are pushin their brother,sister,Aunt & Father. Prepin .....

Thinkin about makin another cross depending on the timing of the females heat cycle. She's gettin after it & lookin forward to rollin out some big 'Ol fur balls to her alone this fall. One of them cross' I wana make before sumthin may happen to either one.

Here we are,a matter of hours from enterin up in the dance competition & "Patch" wounded himself a couple nights ago. Got a bad tire with a severly bruised or broken lil bone just above his outside toe on his driver's side.

Put him on a therapy/R
& R gig,mixed with vitamins & some mystery drugs. Today's report is he's walkin on it & not showin woundage action when he walks. Restin till friday for safety sake.

Vet looked at him & said,"Might be a broken, {what ever bone it is} & we'll need'ta get some x-rays'ta see if it is & if you can hunt him?"

Why's that ya supose? So he can suck out some easy money by takin $200 worth of x-rays to tell us the same thing we already know? Then tell us to do what I knew we needed to do already & not geared towards quik healin. Reckon follow up's as well.

"NO THANK YOU VERY MUCH"...... We got'er covered!

He's pretty tough so we'll find out on friday night?

The leaves are turnin & the blood within the hunter & the hunted is stirrin. Can't wait'ta here them long rifles crack outa the old Mark II!

Younger brothers & sisters of "Patch" & "Moe" are some exceptionally good lookin pups for my likins. Real fancy strutter's that are collecting stuff in one spot in the yard we didn't know was even here...LOL!!

Sure enjoy watchin the lil turds prance around. Had'ta rescue two outa the hottub so far. Lucky for them no water in it...........

Enjoyed the video Jay! We've had "Patch" on lock down since the quarter finals. His bubble been messed up for a while. Don't know if'n the double dose of lyme's is gettin'ta him or what? Not been the same dog & we want him back so just givin him a time~out. Actin awful good rite now so we'll see friday night at the pond how thats workin out? In fact we havn't hardly been out since then ourselves.

"Bum" Had some serious gash's rite down his spine that needed to heal. I mean good ones! He's gettin there. 'Bout had'ta be a battle with some red brand barb wire. Trouble with a very competative dog. They tend'ta throw caution to the wind which results in wounds often 'nuff.

Gota get our showdawg back'ta bein purty !

Six days till harvest season open's. five days till I get my first knee operated on. I'm lookin more forward to the knee fixin.

We have three younger brothers & one sister to "Patch". Colored differently this round & they are purty. We have a carbon copy of my old "Luke" only with lighter trim. In rough draft, Frame,Structure & coloring. Can't wait till they get growed up.

A carbon copy of LUKE ??? If that is true, I may have to make a trip up and see that for myself......again. Big shoes to fill....you don't really want your coonhunting to become easy again, do you ?? I know Luke made it look easy.
