We had to give it a try on Christmas night. Little ann did a nice job through the frost ran this old track 800 yrds had a big coon sound a sleep.
My daughter tried out her Christmas camera. Click on video.

We sure are having fun with this Clyde/Chance pup. Couldn't be happier for a 14 month old pup. Thanks again Aubrey and family.

Got an update from Zeb H., sounds like his Walter pup off of Rip X Rose is doing real well. This picture was taken after his & Walter's hunt last Wednesday night:

Aubrey and Carl took the mules out last night. Had a good time, but the coon weren't moving real great. A lot of den trees & rock bluffs.

mule ride

We should have been making a video of extreme mule riding last night instead of hunting. Some pretty rough country but a nice night for a ride. I'am glad you got some pictures none of mine turned out. You might have to send them to me.

No school for Kori, and no work for me, so we went for a quick early evening drop and quick it was!!! Skeeter struck a nice track, ran it open, and Moon ran silent. 150 yards treed with the coon.

Kori searched and found the coon on her own with her new Blazer light that she got for her birthday.

Here is the coon!!!

John, you are welcome to come anytime. As you can see, the sack of "Taters" is really growing. He keeps up with the other two pretty well. We think he is going to be our cowboy, he is as bow-legged as they come and has the balance to ride just about anything.

I just get tickled every time I see those little Rascals. I sure do miss the days when ours were little! We have our 10th grand child on the way, but we don't get to see them as much as we would like! Our oldest of 5 is pushing 33 and I'm still amazed when they start reminiscing they bring up the smallest things that I used to do with them that you didn't think were much at all, but it was special to them. Makes you feel good to know that they knew you loved them enough to spend time with them!
Keep up the great job your doing with both dogs, & kids. IT PAYS DOWN THE ROAD!!!

Went out for a couple drops tonight, first drop produced nothin, second drop.... 6 coon, dogs were split about 50 yards apart!!! VERY HAPPY WITH SKEETER. She can hold her own against the rest!

Great pics guys! Sounds like Skeeter is coming along well, Bill! Both she and Moon and looking great, should be ready to roll this spring.

Aub took the kids out tonight for a while since it was so nice (40 degrees here!!!). They took Ox and Cherry and had a pine tree, one big one on the outside, and a den...and called 'er a night.
