Chuck if they did away with your job what do you do now? These city folk ought to take a few lessons from us country folk we could teach them a thing or two!! Our oldest son moved to town and is finding out that they have an ordinance for this and that and not liking being told what he can and can't do with his own property. Tried to tell him but wouldn't listen now he is seeing what I was talking about.

im drawing unemployment now,,im going to start ,well sign up for social security ,,no one wants to hire me at my age ,,but you cant say that and prove it ,,lol guess im venting to much ,,lol thanks to Rex inviting me to post here ,he may be sorry,!! But all in all ive been reading this thread for awhile and everyone on here seems to get along well ,so here i am ,,,ty chuck west

Linda and Rex. No my body woke me up and my sugar was down to 41. Here I was at 1:00a. drinking a sprite and eating coffee doughnuts. Did you know that sprite has 63 grams of sugar in it. Well about half hour later I was fine again but worn out from what I went through. Hope one of these nights I can get back to sleeping. Probably when I get back to hunting. It relaxes me.

Mike you just can't win for losing. Sorry to hear things didn't go well for you last night. If hunting will make you better maybe you should borrow a hound and go Hope today goes better for you sounds like you will have to take a coonhunters nap!! I will say a prayer for you today

Mike ,I hope tonight's better for you..I can send you down this female to hunt if you need something to hunt..but I warn you she's still green..Chuck you are most welcome to vent anytime..Mike, Bill and I have a thread going over on Prohound for years now ,they have heard me vent plenty of times .and have kept me from going to far at times..good men both of them..Jeff Ashmore ,TD,and linda..well I've known them my whole life ,I don't have a memory of not knowing them and their parents too..great people one and all..this thread is for good folks to get on and shoot the bull a little and keep up on the events of the day [or night depending on who hunt that night]...And Chuck I know what you mean about being hired by age or not hired..

Well thank you Rex ,, just came in from being on the deck ,,,i got a tub of water out there set up to pan for gold ,,,, lol yup i got me some this morning ,i need to get out in the boonies some where and dig me up some more sand and gravel ,im getting low!! think ill go back out soon as i eat my sandwich .

Rex thanks for telling me that you hope I sleep better tonight. Think I will pass on the green female.lol When I am ready to quit I am ready. Thanks for the kind words about me to. Chuck hop aboard. It some times gets hairy like Rex says. But your friends will all ways catch you before going to far. These so called companies today would rather hire these young people who don't show up for work all the time or all ways late or my car had a flat tire or my dog ate my map that shows me how to get there. They forgot who made their business what it is today. I am done venting.

Chuck people who don't hire older people don't know what they are missing we could probably all work circles around these young pups today. At least you can draw soc. sec. It may not even be there when it's my turn. Seems strange to pay into something so many years and not live long enough to be able to spend it all. . Do you hunt somewhere like the rest of these guys? No i dont Linda ,the only dog i can keep here is a little house dog ,and if i want to deer hunt ,well hunt period any landowner wants major money to hunt on him,,anywhere from1500.00 and up,,so ive not hunted in 3 years now or fished !!

Just got done with supper, it was so good big mom said too slow down, she couldn't see her plate from all the sparks I was throwin' from mine!!!!! Hop right in here Chuck--one more B.S.er won't hurt nothin'. Things sure have changed up there on the old " chism trail " ( Rt 41 northern In. ) We use to slip down that way with our heavy loads to avoid the coops. ( weigh station )

Yes around Lake Village, In. and by the Kankakee river--both spots had woods and cornfields. Seen 4 that weren't that old of kills. I'll bet there are a bunch to hunt up that way, a long way to travel for a hide. I think I'll go squirrel huntin in the mornin'.

i slept in til 6:00 ,,good morning one and all,kind of a so-so looking day here .

Good morning everyone. My head hit the pillows last night and the next thing I knew it was 5:45am. Got up and had coffee and went out and fed the dogs and I am ready for a new day. I feel good today. Thing I might asked the wife if she would like to arm wrestle me. Never beat her yet but theirs a first time for every thing. lol lol

Mike, Glad to hear you slept well and are feeling better. Good morning Chuck cloudy here and a little damp. How much gold did you find yesterday if you made a real haul you could share. Not sure if TD will have any luck haven't seen my yard squirrels yet this morning.
