"Bum" treed his first awful young & was pretty consistent at showin me coon by the time he was 6 months & hunted him alone every night I went.

Hearing some awful nice reports about some of his son's & daughters that others own. Told about a three so far outa Ron Behne's "Sadie" that are turnin it up. Yancy Goodlock has two I beleive that he told of them gettin after it bigtime when they was very young. He said they would flat blister anything on any kinda track when they was 6 months I beleive. They are outa his "Diamond" {heavy "Boomer"}female & he really likes them.

We have four outa him from three different litters. "Patch" & "Moe" where born in the summer. Their huntin career was basically started in the winter & snow. By spring they was doin pretty good for their age & condition's they learned in. I was huntin "Patch" alone when he was 9 months. One of them nights he treed five seperate coon in a two acre area & never opened on the ground. Both will be Dual gr's if nothin happens to them. My "Fancy" female is a speed deamon that has always pretty much been a loner sorta. She put's on the best show of tail dancin you'll ever see & her radar is extremely accurate. One of the most athletic I've ever owned. We have the "Bean" we got from Ron outa "Sadie" That we havn't messed with a lot but she sure acts rite.

Schawn Peterson in Nebraska has two outa different litters he really likes. One outa our "Whitey",be a brother to "Fancy" & the other outa "Sadie". His "Rip" keeps him grinnin Purty steady & "Tink" Has some fresh text's comin in recently full of grinnin that keeps me grinnin

With a touch of luck & a lota help from your female Jerrod ya just might have some young dogs to keep ya grinnin in a few short months!

Vicky Perkin's Said their pup outa "Sadie" went nuts when it seen it's 1st coon. Austin Leffelholz of Dickeyville Has his pup I gave him, "Houston", a consistent coondawg & he won BOS at the state youth event recently. He's outa "Whitey" as well.. I know there are several others that are escapin me at the present.

I think there are seven litters by him & we raised & are gona raise shortly the fourth ourselves the 18th of this month. We are all pretty happy to hear about these youngdawgs & the excitement in their owners voice's.

A common thing is their personality,intelligence & blisterin track speed. Majority purty good lookin as well.

Russ, I could come down sometime and we could make copies of ur papers (then I have all the pedigrees) and we could write down a little info and a discription on the back of the copy, and I bet I can find pics of most of the dogs on this thread or on thr "treein blue crew" thread...
It would also be a perfect chance for me to come hunt with the bloodlines of my first blue dog lol

What made ya make the move? Lack of coon? Scared of gettin in the mountains or ya just wana be closer to huricane action? You have lived in some nice country through the years. We still live in the land of cheese but i have I hankerin'ta move west to live with the Grizzlies & the Wapati.

My inlaws live in Branson & I really like that country. Lots & Lots'a timber. Could live around there but I have no desire to live further south. I'm "Up'nort" I guess. Manitoba or Alberta would be good to.

Glad we're not hunting this weekend. Ol girl is due on Sun so I might just send the girls down by themselves but we'll see. Ik that they will be takin a car load (if not 2) of dogs down. We have open male & female, CH male & female and I think Beth will be runnin Dick iin the FT & WR... I wonder if they can fit 5 dogs in the car?

Awful hot to be stackin to many in sumthin with a lot of windows?? Keep that in mind. A simple stop for gas or sumthin to eat can make it easy to get'um hot. The feild trial & water racin dog ya might wana be careful of gettin into a retirement of sorts. Lota jumpin & people watchin. Hate'ta see Beth get in a situation if it can be prevented is what I'm gettin at not pointin fingers or judgin.

I know of some mates to her doin quite well as well. One we own we call "Dude" who's been chillin in far western Iowa for a spell. "Dude's" gota a mouth on him.

"Drum" was so kind as to whelp the day of the youth event. She had seven,four females & three males. Sunday she layed on one lil female but I was able to revive it with mouth to mouth CPR. She's got a full tummy this mornin & just as active as the others so hopefully she will be OK.

Thanks BCD! Never done all that before. Everytime I go check on'um, which is multiple times a day, I expect her to be dead but she acts just like the rest & always diggin for a nipple. Makes me smile every single time

Couldn't agree more Roy! Once they get house broke & quit climbin the curtains or practicin bein tricycle motors they are some kinda fun to drag around...LOL!!

Was just thinkin bout my age when the youngest will graduate high school? Guess this is part two of life...
