She goes back to terry daniels dogs which is granny dot finley river dan as far as what shea like in the timber she will tree coon close or deep big loud mouth aloaner other dogs can cover her but she won't cover another dogshe has a lot of the same dogs in her backround as drifter.

Update on my Drifter pup!!!

Well I took Girl to the woods for the second time tonight . The first time she had been here for two days , Didn't do a whole lot but was not keeping my feet warm, did manage to get out about 350 yards for a few. Kept her laid up at the house getting use to everyone for a few weeks , took her tonight with Minnie Turned them loose and she shot off like a rocket , Minnie struck at about 180 yards in ,moved a track about another 200 yards and got hooked . I noticed Girl was left handed about 320 on the garmin , as I walked to Minnie she opened up twice swung around and was at tree when I got there. Minnie had a coon knocked it out to them, First coon I have showed Girl. Loaded up and went down the road .Next dump cut them on the edge of a corn field didn't take long for Minnie to get struck and right after she struck Girl opened on track went about 600 yards had another coon , And Girl was blowing it down. She is a Natural Starter that wants to please and has a CANNON! of a mouth, She is louder then most Male dogs. Thanks again Rick for this fine pup and thanks Dennis for keeping this line available to us that like Track Driving Coon Treer's.

ground I have heard story after story like yours. Thats pretty darn special in my book. I knew you could promote her way better than me. And you are right about that mouth. She has a cannon for a mouth. Dennis said her mom was the loudest female he ever heard and he has been coonhunting a long long time.

I knew when I heard about Dennis and his dog drifter he was special. Drifter is truly the Dog out behind the barn stuff you dream about. Just look at that pedigree. When I got a copy of it, It took me about three hours just to unravel the line bred crosses that had been made to produce Drifter.
Its like finding an old 35 Chevy outbehind a barn in mint condition!!!

I believe Drifter is fixing to give walker breeders a shot of new blood that we have needed for awhile. It is hard to find accurate track dogs. Period. There is an exception in every line, but this line of dogs is known for accurate track driving hounds all the way back to spring creek Rock and Finley River Dan. If you track the pedigree far enough back you will see OLD Finley River Dan dozens of times. Dan was and is one of the premier studs to ever live in the walker hounds. Drifter is doing his part from what I can tell.
Girl is just a baby pup. I dont think she has even turned six months old yet.

How old is Drifter? I have been looking into old blood studs but I have yet to come across one like triple m drifter. I have a young trackman female that I will be looking to breed to drifter in the future. Too many people overlook a dog like this and that's a big mistake.

I also believe. may turn 6 this year. Id give Dennis a call. he is an outstanding breeder of coondogs. This is one of the rarest pedigrees I have probably ever seen. The first time I saw it and studied it, it blew my mind. Theres every kind of line bred cross in it. Uncles/neices....grand daughters to great uncles, cousins....all of it within being inbred.

I think he should be on everybodys breeding radar myself.

to bad clint told me that she didn't have pups I had a female booked out of this litter before she was even bred.

r.d.....congrats on picking a nice stud. He is the real deal. Dennis owns one heck of a stud dog. Not only is he a stomp own balanced coondog but he is producing some outstanding pups.
