I think with the pressure off Jimmie that he will get the win this week. He had a fast car at Dega but got no help at the end. I hope the years fastest 4 drivers make the final 4 and that is Harvick, Bad Brad, Logano and Gordon. If someone with No wins keeps advancing and finishes the best at Homestead and wins Championship, that would stink. But its possible. Its like the NFL now. If a team goes 16 and O and another team gets in playoffs as wildcard with a 8 and 8 record and gets hot they can win Superbowl and be the champs. Going to be fun to see how it plays out. The new chase format does make it more exciting. That was the best Dega race in a while.

harvick has been fast all year,if he can keep from haveing so much bad luck he will be hard to beat,as a driver he seldom makes mistakes and i think who ever makes the fewest mistakes will win it all.

Picture of my wife standing by Harvicks car last year at Miami. The last race for Harvick in the 29. He started 33rd today but has moved up to 17th and Jeff Gordon just took the lead. Who will win today?

RACING

Getting down to the last 50 laps and Harvick had a bad day as he got hit by Kenseth and Jimmie had a bad day also. Gordon and Hamlin are fast and JR too. Been a lot of beating and banging and the action is probably going to pick up in these last laps.

RACING

Big wreck and race is red flagged now. Bad Brad broke an axle or transmission trouble and caused it. So now he and Harvick will Have to win to advance. One will advance to championship on points but not either of them. The 2 winless drivers, Kenseth and Newman are having a good top 10 day so far. I sure don't want to see a winless driver win it all but it could happen. Logano has had a good day but don't have the speed to get the win.

WINNER!

What a RACE! Jimmie Johnson gets the win, Harvick 2nd, Bad Brad 3rd. A lot of punches thrown on and off the track as Gordon was P O at Brad. But I disagree with Gordon, Brad was just being aggressive and going for the win and Gordon came down on him. All the points are tighter now so next week should be a Killer of a race. Can't wait!

I agree Steve , Gordon slid up the track brad had all rights splittin him and Jimmie three wide , Gordon came down the track on brad and cut his own tire ! Why wasn't Gordon's spotter hollering " inside inside " ? Iam gonna rant alittle here but why in the hell did harvick shove brad in the back afterwRds ? To me that's a act if coward ness and I have lost all respect for Harv for it . I've been saying that I think harvick is gonna win it all for weeks but now I hope he's eliminated and I hope Gordon is as well ! Gordon is back to the old crybaby Gordon style of the old , and harvick someone get him a box of tissues ! Gordon said he didn't know how brad had won a championship ? Just like that being aggressive and taking them as they come , Dale Sr. Didn't win 7 championships by putting on a skirt and a pair of heels , he used his fenders and steering wheel ! Boys , Gordon would've done same thing , he would've no doubt won the race had it not been for late caution but that's just how they fall . I hope they fine Gordon n harvick to the gills over this and dock them points to where either can't advance to next round cause both don't deserve it in my opinion !

My next weeks Phoenix picks : 1) Denny Hamlin 2) Newman 3) harvick
Unless some drastic happens I think it may but my final four picks are
1) logano 2) Newman 3) Gordon 4) Hamlin

i dont think brad did anything wrong from what ive seen,brad saw a opening,he went for it and gordon came down on him.if brad made that move early in he race i could see why jeff would be mad,but it was late in the race and brad was going for a win and maybe a championship,i think any driver worth there salt would have made the same move as brad.i saw were harvick tried to push brad into jeff then harvick ran off like a little sissy boy.ive never been a big fan of harvick or gordon and iam even less of a fan of them now.i was pulling for joey but now i hope brad sweeps the next 3 races and wins the championship.GO NO.2

SCARY and SKEETS, I agree about Harvick. he pushed Brad so Gordon could get ahold of him them moved out of the way to watch the show. I never have liked him but hoped he won since Jimmie was out and the wife would get to see him get a Championship. After yesterday I told her I hoped Brad punched them all in the mouth and got the Championship. Going to be an ugly race Sunday I believe. As good as Brad and Logano have ran all year I hope they both make the final 4 and one of them wins it. My Grandson Mason who is 4 loves Jimmie but also loves to see bad Brad get a win and do the burnout with our NATIONS FLAG. I do look for Harvick to win this week but for Logano to win championship.

Yea I didn't understand why harvick said that he wanted brad to fight his own fight , looked like to me he didn't want to start a fight and was trying to avoid it but Gordon was hell bent on it . Don't think either hit one another they got roughed up and where bleeding I think from pit crews pushing and pulling like a bunch of wild cats . Man if your gonna fight throw down !

i did see one of the pit crews i believe hit a older man and it looked like it knocked the older gentlemen down,but i cant say for sure because everything was happening so fast. at least gordon was trying to settle it in the pits instead of with his car on the track after the race.i dont mind the pushing and shoveing after a race it gets me all fired up but i dont wanna see nobody use their car to get back at a driver.i hope Mason gets to see bad brad hauling around that american flag after next weeks race lol.i cant wait for the next race to see whats going to happen next.love him or hate him brads good for the rateings.lol

I agree Skeets, Brad shouldn't have had the Kurt Bush Meltdown a few weeks ago and hit guys with his car. He for sure has his moments. I just keep getting this sick feeling that a driver with NO WINS will win the Championship. Hope I'm wrong because I feel if that happens and with them REDUCING the horsepower for the new engines next year that they will have even fewer fans show up at the tracks.

mr.bankston that would stink if the championship goes to a none winner.i hope with all this excitment here lately it will bring new fans into the sportjust like it did when bobby,donnie and cale got into it at daytona back around 1979.i became a big bobby allison fan that day lol.i didnt know they were going to reduce the horsepower next year,i guess they will do that by less cubic inches in the engine,i reckon nascar is thinking less horse power better handling cars makes for tighter raceing.if they would bring back the 66 galxies we would sure nuff know who the best drivers are.lol

FREAKY FAST!

Harvick was screaming fast in practice and so was Brad and Joey. Gordon not so much. Qualifying is coming on now ESPN 2. Harvick or Brad will get the pole is my guess.
