some of us actually hunt and check sports center when we get in

I like listening to the game on the radio I grew up doing that all we had here in the mountains was the Saturday game of the week and than they came out with Monday night baseball on ABC Dad would send me up on the roof to turn the antenna still a little snowie at times depending on the weather

But most of the time in the summer we would sit out on the front porch waiting for the house to cool off since we had no ac with a radio listening to the Dodgers my Dad was a Dodger fan

GO BRAVES !!! and yea your right Todd its been a long 3 days plus that cardinal pitching cost the national league a win

this has been the 3 longest days of my life,all i had to do is sit and look at my wife lol. i watch the braves and sometimes listen to them on radio.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about that trade. I realize Price is an awesome lefty but Smyly was just starting to come into his own and we already had a stacked rotation. Jackson was on fire offensively and I realize he has his slumps but centerfield at Comerica Park is a big big place and you didn't worry about it with him patrolling it. We don't have another good, fast, defensive outfielder. Plus we lose speed on the base path which is the one thing I like the most about the Tigers new style of play. I guess all in all, when it comes right down to it, I'd prefer Kate Upton.

Todd I agree they fianlly got a lead off hitter BUT will Fredi be smart enough to put him there daily is the question....will he bench BJ or will he put Bono on third and bench Johnson? my guess is he will unfortantly bring him off the bench most days and not use him as a everyday leadoff hitter

I like you am not so sure about the Tigers deal either...I like Price but boy can Jackson play the game and speed to burn

He's faster speed wise.Just not sure about the ability to "read" the ball.

I wonder how Andy Dirks is going to do coming off the DL? I remember him having better than avg speed an being pretty solid? Doesn't have a lot of big league games under his belt though. Going to single A Whitecaps game tomorrow night and Dirks is rehabbing there. Should be fun.

It sure does suck to be an Indians fan. They traded their opening day starting pitcher and their starting shortstop for 2 Triple A players. I guess it is once again... wait til next year.

iam missing the skipper more and more as the braves keep playing bad baseball.if the lose today it will be the first time since 1948 that a brave team had lost 8 straight games on the road.the braves need to be bunting more and put on more hit and runs,try to do someting to get the bats going and also ship bj to the circus league.lol
