It wouldn't hurt nothing, it would just up the stakes! There could also be some really good incentive and benefits for winning a supergrand title.

Anymore thoughts? Realistically, we'll probably gain 1 to 2 cast a hunt. Probably 1 on a regular hunt and 2 on the sectionals.

HECK IT IS HARD TO GET GRANDS TO COME OUT TO SECTIONALS EVEN TO HUNT FOR KING OF HUNT OF THERE BREED AND A HIGH SCORING DOG OF HUNT. I KNOW NO CHANCE FOR TITLE. BUT THERE IS BRAGGING RIGHTS AND USUALLY A PIC IN YOUR BREED BOOK.

Shute, its hard enough to get anyone out to the hunts right now! This hot and humid weather stinks! Ready for cooler weather.

It might be one more cast. But if we can start having youth cast during our regular hunts, that might be another extra cast. 8 extra dogs sound pretty good to me, and atleast it would be a start! Jmo

the big hunts is where its not right the way Grand nites are treated. My buddy entered the Winter Classic a couple years ago and was SECOND HIGHEST SCORING DOG in the ENTIRE Winter Classic but recieved ZERO CREDIT simply because the dog was a Grand Nite.

Does anyone know how you can get a survey on this subject on this page? It would be interesting to see what people think?

I think we need to start giving credit to cast winners before we move on to a super duper grand nite maximus title.

I've won enough casts to finish my dog 4 times to Grand. Just seems like He comes in second every time! We can't catch a break!! I'm gonna have to agree here!!!!

I like the cast wins too. I believe AKC does it that way. Just compete against the dogs in you're cast.

I like the idea of making 3 supergrand cast wins automatically qualifies your hound for the world hunt.

Maybe give away a special Dan's custom embroidered jacket to a supergrand along with automatically qualified in the world hunt. That'll get them grand dogs out?

I think its a great idea I mean yea the buddy hunts are nice the world hunt qualifiers are nice to hunt them grand night dogs in but some of us aint got the time or the money to run to big hunts just to hunt our finished hounds I mean what would it hurt more money for clubs more money for ukc win win win make them pay a higher entery fee give away a nicer trophy

Not trying to be a debbie downer. But why in the world would you guys want UKC to have another classification.

My reason for saying this is. UKC has the performance program. You can still hunt your dog at the local hunts as a GRNITECH and when money. That was one of UKC's main reasons for starting the program. To get GRNITECH's back at the hunts. It helps the club plus, it helps put money in your pocket.

Just think about how many GRNITECH's are in your area and how they could be at the local hunts winning money. The more the merrier.
