Jason you cant win every cast. Ole Rocky is very consistent for sure and he has done good. Just think where we were at just a few months ago. Both of us were ready to kill some dogs I think LOL!!! Congrats again Jason, Good Dog and Good Guy makes a great combination!! Darren Hollis

first dump not much to say went 800 yrds without a bark. 2nd turn loose was better treed a coon.

hunt in cullman tonight hope we have a good night.

after tonight think we might jus lay him up for a couple of day till Saturday. this heat is tuff on them dogs

After the cullman hunt I think rocky needs a vacation. He has done a wonderful job for me. All these hunts and heat are starting to get to him and I can tell. Gonna sit him up for about 3 days. These dogs are tuff as nails but they need a break every so often.

man o man what a couple of days rest will do. rocky looked like his self last night. I sure hate getting beat with circle points(475) it jus leaves you not knowing for sure. we are still ok in the breed and state race. try it again tomorrow night

running these races are the hardest thing I have ever done in hunting. it is almost like a curse LOL! hope it pays off. their is some might fine dogs that we are trying to beat. thanks for the support it means alot

Took rocky to boonsville miss tonight to a 50$ hunt. He took 3rd strike he was by his self in a cutover the and got treed by his self with a coon.another dog got treed but they couldn't find it. That puts rocky up to $1464 for the year!! Going to be pretty slow here next week as far as hunts. Gonna let him relax.

sure was nice to go pleasure hunting last night(I thought). two hours and rocky barked twice. thunder storm was coming in so we went to the house.

Hunt

Know what you mean Jason. Buddy had a caged coon and wanted to turn it loose. He had the Dolly gyp I sold him and I had a pup and a young dog. Had plans to turn coon loose at about 7:00 and be home by 8:00 and kick back. Turned coon loose and waited bout 10 minutes and cut dogs. Got them suckers all gathered up at 9:30 and still ain't treed that dang coon. Sucker had his toenails pulled off or something. Got home bout 10:00. So much for that quick training session. Lol. Darren.

pkc breed standings got updated today and rocky is still the Alabama state leader and the NEW breed leader. we got 110$$ still not showing. got two hunts this week sure need them wins cause there is still a lot of time left.

got beat last night but did a great job. jus didn't get his mouth opened fast enuff but was split about 100 yrds away. 3dogs on first tree and rocky had his all to hisself. both trees had coons. let 60$$ slip away.
