I just granded a male out of Rock.Barron's Southern Ky Doc.And just made that cross again.Thanks Jake more good ones on the way.
I have never hunted with Rock but everything I've heard about him and his pups are good.I took Doc with me to show him to Jake while making this cross again and I described his hunting habbits to him and he said I was describing Rock.Can't wait for these pups to hit the ground.Not saying they're perfect because there's no such thing but I sure like them and I will be Breeding to Rock again.NAILOR BLOOD LIVES ON!!!!

The price will go up then. This female is almost ready to work with she barks at rabbits, squirrels, and birds anything in the yard that moves.

Guys, I have not hunted with Rock, but I have hunted with 3 Rock dogs. all who which you have seen on this post. Rage, Bo, and the little female. ALL 3 are exceptional COONDOGS. Mr. Blaloks Rage dog is a straight forward hound that uses his brain. He hunts structure. What I mean by that is he knows where to look for a track, and a stylish treedog!!!
Bo, on the other hand, has a sneaky side that I love about him. You can cut him loose to the north and not here a sound out of him. And all of a sudden...BAAAAMMMM...BAAAMMMM...BA,BA,BA,BA,BA,BA from the other direction(south) LONELY and DEEP!!! Will drive a cast of guys crazy.LOL

These are some nice dogs PERIOD!!!

I do have one question though that maybe you Mr. Jake can answer. All three dogs I have mentioned wasn't very open on track. Is this a dominate trait for Rock dogs? Not that there is anything wrong with it, i'm just curious. Im sure thats how they manage to get lonely that easy.

I DREW BO A COUPLE OF TIMES HE IS TOUGH,ONE HUNT HE HAD 600 PLUS IN 40 MINUTES AND THE OTHER HUNT I THINK WE SCORED 675 ,HE TREED 4 COONS IN A TWO HOUR HUNT I THOUGHT I COULD RIDE HIS SHIRT TAIL AFTER I GOT A LITTLE AHEAD THEN WE CUT LOOSE BO TREED A COON EVERY OTHER DOG RAN PASSED AT 50 YARDS.I KNEW THEN THERE WILL BE NO SHIRTTAIL RIDING ...NICE DOG AND VERY NICE GUYS ..I ALSO DREW ROCK ONCE HE WAS DEEP AND ALONE WITH A COON ....LOUD

My son has a rock female that isn't every step bark on track but is more open you can't buy a first strike on that dog. She is also a quick track get it treed dog. loves to be split he hasn't had any luck in the hunts cause of the leaves but has split treed at 40 feet one dog with a possum and her with a coon. She's 2 and the other dog was a 4 yer old. Her and hunting with Rock is why I breed my female to him.

got a 8 month old male pup 250 will run track has treed a few times smart pup just dont have money to pay him up

I have bred to Rock twice with two different females. Both litters were very nice. Rock is a very nice hound an a great reproducer. Jake is a stand up guy. Can't go wrong with Rock an Jake. I'll have a female ready soon Jake. Hope all is well haven't heard from you in awhile. Take care.

Anyone gonna be haveing rock pups around indiana?

I have a 7 month old male that hasnt been hunted. Hes a small male with a good mouth. Red head blanket back. SS and Performance paid up. I have 3 males just selling the one. 3 or 4 out of the litter are running and treeing. Mine havent been out due to my work schedule. Hopefully if the weather warms up Ill start hunting them.
