Yea haha it's been a screwed up season, she had surgery at the beginning of the season to remove a tumor then I got the stitches taken out hunted her a few times and she was awful rusty. Then she started goin downhill fast and during tha period I didn't hunt her none.

Tuesday

We went Tuesday night and first drop struck right off the bat, it was so hot and they were driving so hard we actually started talking ourselves into thinking it was a whitetail and the dogs are pretty much broke. But then to our relief they ran the hot racing whitetail right up a big white oak and he turned into a ringtail LOL ! Had a good night here in SW Virginia

Hello everyone! Just got back into it after 5yrs off. I hunt amherst Va. and been doing pretty good lately treed in a Den last night.

Anybody still chasin in va? Me and couple buddies have been goin a couple times a week and done decent. I've got an english pup thats really comin along nicely besides burning up some deer. Hopefully she turns out to be an excellent replacement to my old walker gyp that passed away during hide season.

Never ask a man what kind of dog he has. If he has a hound he'll tell you, if he does not, you don't want to shame him by asking.

It has gotten a lot harder to pick em out around here too. Have had a few trees here lately that we couldn't find them at all.
