We have a double RC x Jenny Bred female lined up to breed to Jack as soon as she comes in. I have in the works a Heavy Vaughn bred female that will also be bred to Jack. I'm excited about both of these crosses. Some Vaughn stock was crossed up with Harpeth River Blue Joe years ago with very good success. I believe it will cross well back on Jack.

We still have several pups out of Jack available. There is only one male for sure and possibly one female left available out of Jack X Thunder cross.
There are several females and a couple males left available out of the Jack X Dixie cross. Thunder and Dixie pups can be picked up right after Christmas.
Still several pups available from the Jack x China cross. This cross will be ready to go mid January. Pups will be Super Stakes and Performance eligible. Call me if interested in a pup. Chris Briner 618-553-4754. Thanks.

A look back at Jack pups in 2012

I want to Thank all that own, hunt or handle a pup out of Jack and those that have bred their fine females to Jack, We thank you. You have helped make 2012 a very successful year. With 75% of Jack pups being born after May of 2011, I would expect 2013 to be another productive year for Jack pups in "competition" and "pleasure" hunting. Please continue to keep me updated with your pups and Young dogs out of Jack, as this helps with breeding decisions in the future. Once again a BIG THANK YOU from Mike Dunn and Myself(Chris Briner). chris had a close call last night! took her hunting with me to let her hang out she was messing around by the truck and i heard something that didnt sound right and i didnt see her. i didnt think much about it till i heard her crying. walked over to where she should have been and no pup then i seen a 9 inch hole that someone had drilled looked in it and there she was. stuck my arm down as far as i could and just could grab her and pulled her out. shined down in it and it was 30 ft deep with water at the bottom. my heart was racing!!! i have turned loose there a 100 times and never seen it. rolled a rock over that sucker.

Jewels in heat

I was at Mike's yesterday and it looks like Jewels is coming in heat. Jewels will be bred to Harpeth River Blue Jack. Jewels is a very well put together female, she is a GRCH with a good mouth and will get deep,if needed to tree a coon. Jewels pedigree is posted below. Jewels is a RC X Jenny bred female.

Thanks Scott. Both females are very good looking hounds and hope to get some nice pups from these 2 females crossed on Jack. All we are pushing here are hounds that run and tree coon. I help advertise Harpeth River Blue Jack at Stud because I believe him to be an above average reproducer, based on what I have seen in young dogs out of him .I don't own a hair on Jack. I do own a couple out of Jack. Thanks again for the compliments. Take care.

JACK PUPS MAKING NEWS AGAIN.

I just got my February issue of Coonhound Bloodlines. I see where Nate and Blitz made the 9th spot on the Bluetick's Performance Points earned list. I have been anticipating on seeing this. I would like to congratulate to Nate and Blitz on this achievement. I also seen where John Bishop and Sonic made the February issue also with a picture of their 3rd place registered win at the Battle of the Breeds. Congrats to John and Sonic. Blitz and Sonic are both out of Harpeth River Blue Jack. I have also got a couple more pictures of some Jack pups, some have been sent to me some I have taken myself. Pictures of some Jack pups are posted below.

I have just acquired Nitech Wild-N-Blue Sissy. Sissy will be bred to Jack when she comes in. Sissy is out of RC X Jenny. Sissy made the current Bluetick females reproducers list November 2012. I look forward to making this cross with Sissy X Jack.
