Ol Charlie didn't make the trip but John Vaught & his beautiful passenger did. Very nice folks we thought & enjoyed our meetin very much. Got his female bred & he took in a lil bit of a coonhunt. Bum treed a coon in a large bush & when Matt got in there he said the Bum had the tree bout stripped. He could see the coon himself.

Lookin forward to givin a pup or two a try outa the cross as well as maybe a visit to Kentucky ourselves one day.

Thanks again Russ for raising them, bad timing, but I hope that it wil be worth it. I for one, can barely find enough time for a nap here and there, I really didn't want to have to worry about pups. Especially since I bounce a lot from "down here" to "up there", sometimes with a bow and arrow in hand, sometimes with a leadstrap and .22 in hand.

The excitement I'm receiving from friends about this cross has also got me excited, just a tad...

I hope she has a belly full so everyone who has expressed interest can get one. As Russ said, she only had 2 her last litter, but I was also hunting her hard during her pregnancy. I got her 1st place win 2 weeks before she had her pups. I wont be hunting her too much this time around.

Now the waiting game....

Some puppies growin in "Dot"! John Vaught called & informed me his female,"Midnite", was swellin up. My "Carly" is puffin up as well so be three litters comin along in a month or so.

We crossed "Carly" on "Patch" her last litter. Have a male outa that that is progressing as good as I could ask. Only seen a half dozen coon,Maybe.

John Vaught's "Midnight" female had 8 puppies. 6 females & 2 males earlier in the week. John said there doin real good. He's in Kentucky so if anybody lookin that way.

Brandon's "Dot" due the 15th & "Carly" after that.

Has seven & don't know the sexes. Fat & healthy lil buggers they are.

Dot has two females & six males.

Between both litters there's not enough black for one saddle backed dawg all put together.

"HOWDY"!

Got a few chubby lil puppies here outa Bum & My Carly female & Brandon Gudgeon's Dot. One total outcross & the other heavily line bred in the Spanky direction. May be some males available. Only two females in both litters & they been spoke for a while back.

These are gona be ready in mid December on the one litter & the other at Christmas time. When they'll be 8 weeks old. Potential Christmas present type stuff. Interested? Give me a call at the house. My cell seldom gets enough service to talk on it & I don't get outa the brush much. Can Text my cell but that's the best with that. Hav'nt talked on that thing in a couple months.

John Vaught has one or two I think to go as well outa his Midnight female. Lota Hammer dawgs mingled all through her.
