Has had a hard 2 weeks last fri hunted in a hunt should have had a second on him but i screwed him out of it handler plus judges fault( ME) this weekend hunted fri and sat weather was very bad snowed both nights fri took some- his fault ended up treed 1.3 miles with 30 sec left to hunt big tree and the snow was thick couldnt find coon. Tonight bad weather snow almost white out. And cold i think 18 degrees went 1.1 miles thought a marsh and across 2 big creeks treed alone on a den and i withdrew didnt feel like getting any wetter! All in all im very pleased with him! He get there!

Ran him sat two drops 1 coon on outside 1 den he is impressing me every time out bawls.on track then 2-3 long hard bawls and settles into a nice chop and loud!!!!!!! He is proving to be a very nice hound just needed a good.kill.season.on him in NY they have very short season due to snow and not alot of coon so he never got alot of coon down to him but this season 131 coon to him set him straight he.is more constant in treeing.I believe he was trying so hard to please that he didnt settle down and just do it now when u unsnap him he is looking for a coon and.a.tree it in! Ws see what ghis weekend brings!1 on fri and 1. One on sat we will givem heck!

Bruto got a ch win toward grand but in night hunt no luck!got leash lock and dog was in a hole across so timeout for 11/2 hrs only 30 mins used withdrew mean dog and it was 20 degrees and guide put us in nothing but knee high water and on public ground that the local Amish boys killed out

Brutus needs 1 more win in field trial to be GRFCH and 2 or 3 more on the bench to be GRCH He is doing real well in the woods already has his first just needs a couple cast wins to be Nitech Should be 4 way grand by end of this season.

In 10 min he hunt out 350yrds hit a track ran it 850 yrds and treed 2 big boars total time from loading him to unloading him 20 min! Got to love it!
