All of you you thnk TEBLOW will be a great QB keep thinking that, I dont have a problem with Tim Tebow as a human. I would go as far as saying hes one heck of a person, but as a QB in the National Football League he is not good enough. But I would like to tell me why he went 1-4 in the final five games of the season. New England went to Denver and whipped their A$$ (FACT), everyone said its the Patriots their so good (EXCUSE), blaa blaa blaa bottom line is Teblow laid an egg against one of the worst defenses in the NFL (FACT). Then Denver went to Buffalo and get beat like they stole something (FACT), but according to the TEBLOW fans WR dropped passes and the defense didnt show up (EXCUSE) and blaaa blaaa blaaa, next on to Kansas City where the QB you fired beat you (FACT), with a coach who just took over that week (FACT), and the mighty TEBLOW scored zero (0), and the excuses just kept coming for how it wasnt Toblows fault (MORE EXCUSES). The a home game vs. the Steelers, TEBLOW had some really good plays but overall didnt impress me against one of the top five defenses in the league (FACT), Denver one a tough playoff game. Next oh no its the Patriots, and we all know how that ended up. TEBLOW had 9 count em boys nine completetions, Tom Brady had 6 count em boys 6 Touch Down passes (FACT). HMMMMM And the first thing the TEBLOW fans say is no one could be the Pats, dropped passes and no defense blaa blaa blaa (MORE EXCUSES). I would like to say the same people who think TEBLOW will be a great QB and all he does is win, you are also the same people who believe professional wrestling in real....

PROOF THAT ELWAY WAS SATISFIED WITH TEBOW-- HE'S STILL GETTING PAID!!! YES I KNOW THAT'S ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE, PROBABLY FOR MORE THAN JUST ONE PLAYER IN THIS LEAGUE, BUT THE JURY'S STILL OUT, WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE, BUT I'LL MAKE THIS PREDICTION---- THEY PEOPLE MAKING THOSE DECISIONS WON'T BE CALLING ANY OF US FOR OUR OPINIONS!!

I am a big Pats fan and a bigger Brady fan, but you have to take what you saw with a grain of salt. IMO you could easily say ANYBODY could have beat the Broncos that night. I mean for crying out loud Brady got to the point of punting the ball on 3rd down.....

Tim Tebow is a great leader and a seemingly great man of god, but we are talking about the NFL here and he just does not have a role as an NFL QB long term. He is like the Wildcat offense, it was a big deal for a minute and now its obsolete. Its hard to watch a man that tries so hard and has nothing but good to say just not have the tools, but like dogs, you can't give out points for being your buddy if you want the best. Its still a good dog "to you" but in the big picture he just does not have the skill set to do what is needed to do to win in the NFL on a year to hear basis. And just like dogs, the longer you spend trying to work with one that doesn't have the tools, the less time you have to work with one that does. The Broncos are in business to win the Superbowl and as Colin says "can you win games with a sub par QB? sure, can you win championships, no shot"

No assumptions here rance. I will respect your opinion. He is not a top quaterback, not by a longshot. No one here has claimed that. No one has claimed he ever will be.

I certainly do not believe a Christian would bash another Christian such as I have seen here. I'll walk my walk, and you yours. And for amusement, I will continue to read your posts of attack.

you really need to come off your self rightous chair. i attacked no one, critique pro athletes is expected. when it comes to attack, you are the one that personally called me out as a arm chair qb and siad i was scared. i didnt do anything on here i feel i need to pray about for forgiveness, can u say the same, self rightous one?

rance, my friend, do you read what you post? Go back and read what you post. You need to find someone else to criticize. When you say we should leave the role model out of it, what are you saying?

better yet, why dont you quote my posts on this thread where i was bashing someone or attacking them. thats what you accused me of. maybe you are the one that needs to go back and reread.

my point about the role model is, is that should have zero impact when critiqueing his play on the field. what is so hard to understand.

again, everything i wrote is on this thread for you to quote, copy and paste, have at it and prove me or you wrong.

Here is some stats on Tebow:

*Tebow is off to a better start as an NFL quarterback than many of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Through his first 16 starts, Tebow won more games (9) than Peyton Manning (3), Troy Aikman (3), Steve Young (3), Aaron Rodgers (5), Matthew Stafford (6), Sam Bradford (7), Eli Manning (7), John Elway (8), and Drew Brees (8). Tebow accomplished that with a team that was 1-4 before he took over, and had won only 7 of its last 24 games.

*In his first 16 starts, Tebow led his team to a playoff victory. None of these other greats did that. In fact, it took Peyton Manning, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, five full NFL seasons to lead his team to a playoff victory.

*In his first playoff game, Tebow threw for 316 yards in a winning effort — against the best defense in the league.

Will he become an elite QB in the likes of Peyton, Brady, and etc... Probably no where even remotely close.............Compared to the elite QB's, he is off to a better start.............The only stat that matters at the end of the game is the "W".

Tebow is an athlete with the drive to WIN - he has shown that at the High School level, College level, and so far at the Pro level.
