Atlanta messed around and gave up a run in the nineth . Now they're in extra innings. We are 8 1/2 inches behind in rain . No wonder the early corn and mid corn is burnt up. Wont be enough mutton to chase a coon in. And what hay?

Up untill this spring roofing is what I was doing. Putting paper, drip edge and shingles on is a Georgia peach compared to tearing off!! Last summer we did a housing area and the facia and soffit fellers beggged me to come down... said I was making them that much hotter lol!!

Them coon will survive and find something to eat but know were your comin' from, we had that problem in 1988, dry as a bone.

You gonna get curb feelers for the ranger too Gut?

Hay rack yesterday for sure , at least a breeze.

Roofin' sucks anytime.--- NOT my cup of tea.

Posted by l.lyle on 06-10-2011 02:24 AM:

One roadkill in about 500 miles of going and coming around here this time of year .One about 10 to 20 miles in October when they are doing their fall shuffle.

Posted by bigtimberkennel on 06-10-2011 02:57 AM:

Posted by Kris Cisna on 06-10-2011 04:03 AM:

I was carrying my girlfriend coon hunting last fall and an armadillo was in the road and I got it. Around the bend a possum was in the road and I got it. My girlfriend started to bless me out about my indiscriminate nature. Around the next bend a coon hit the road and I almost put the truck in the ditch trying to miss it. My girlfriend said"I thought we were going coon hunting". I assured her I could discriminate.

Spotty's dad use to say "them run over coon may have saved your dog's life" better the coon gets GOOD YEARED than the dog. Did you tell your girl friend it's better to hound 'em than ground 'em?

We got 1/2 in. rain not much but i'll take it. Yes sir the babe's grow up fast. Bob's son Rob caught a 48lb. flathead thur.on the kaskaskia he was well pleased. Hauled it in by himself, he said he was beginin' to wonder for a while if he was goin' to lose it. That's about all the B.S. I know for now. Gut I may have found you a boat, over at Montrose give me a call ( don't want no one to hijack it out from under you on post )
