Clay I have a littermate to Hitch named Sparkie who is the most accurate open mouthed dog I have ever hunted with. I've been hunting 40 years plus and have really enjoyed Sparkie this winter.Some nights he will take you to some new hunting territory but he'll be under a coon. Last week I bred him to a Walker female direct off Medleys Hardwood Swamp- this strain of Walkers is known for accuracy and good mouths. I'll Super Stake this litter and register them as crossbred in PKC. Mr. Jerry Hoover down in your neck of Tenn. trained Sparkie- I want to give him a pup out of Sparkie. Bob Dudley bred one Walker female to Sparkie when he owned him and that litter is outstanding.

i have herd alot about sparkie never had the chance to go with him. i had a walker male a few years ago i carried him on the sat. night bench shows. when i would enter my dog they would tell me they herd of my name. and we would get to talking and mr. hoover would've been there the month before with sparkie. never herd anything bad out of sparkie good luck with your pups. haven't never knowed much about pkc registery i have herd you can cross breed and some fellows have had good succes with it. some fellows has been asking if hitch is pkc registerd i was told i couldn't litter register his pups because he hadn't been hunted in pkc. so i called pkc and they told me i could that wasn't true so i am in the process of registering hitch with pkc.

bradley i might have something i judged pepper twice the year she won the world hunt. i have a movie of the final cast the year she won it. haven't watched it in a while. i don't really think he put out much articals of the pepper female. might have a picture somewhere tho.

my new pup out of hitch she is wild. when i let out of the pin she is not still for a minute on the go. has no fear of any thing that i have seen.

my last cross with hitch

my plan was to cross hitch with some females and see what he was throwing. this female is number 5 my last cross i was planning to make. star started easy a real good tree dog not a real hard hunter. but if someone else had her besides a man with a banged up knee she might would have improved on that. i had a full sister to her but older litter to her made every night interesting and a pleasure to hunt.

buck is out of hank and kate. buck started nice and easy my dad didn't get to make that cross. the female never would let him breed her so my dad tried blue boy and got her breed. i still have hank he is 12 or 13 my dad has a sister to kate he says he is going to try and breed her to hank. buck is around 5.

little lucy

had a freind to loose his young female last night she was making a nice young hound with alot of since. i helped him get her started we spent a good winter with her bye next year she was going to be right. we was going hunting last night and fount her dead. it hurt to find one with so much potential at a early age like that.

been walking my female out of hitch in the hollow she don't get botherd by anything except the other night had a cow having a calf the cow was having trouble. i was setting on the ground waiting on the cow to start pushing before i started pulling the calf. she had a paw on each of my shoulders and her head on my head watching the cow. she didn't bark or nothing she acted like she was consernd about the cow.

been hunting my male i got back out of hitch like his actions. but me and him has been working on his dog box manners. the only music i want to hear when driving my truck is maybe a radio.
