Well in Laymans terms ( and I am certain that is what is what is best used here) it was legislation that FORCED high schools and colleges to put as much money into womens sports as mens. Women were getting the short end of the stick becuase basically nobody gives a crap about them and they cannot bring in the money to the schools that mens sports do so the goverment forced they to get equal funding. Some mens sports programs were eliminated and womens added just so we were equal.

Just another example of the ladies getting what they got by being women as opposed to earning it.

I got no problem with a women doing anything. I have met and worked and even hunted with some top end ones. At the end of the day however, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, earned my respect by their actions, not their gender or telling me what I owe them.

You want to go hunting with daddy, get out there and do it, and don't be a whining pain in the butt while your out there. That is how you change opinions, through actions, not a sense of entitlment to "get what the boys got" just because you want to. Nothing makes me disrespect anyone more than to have them take some kind of advantage or get something because of who they are rather than what they have done.

i worked with a bunch of guys i wouldnt even let have a bb gun. i know what you mean briar. i dont expect everything or anything because of my gender. i have always earned everything and expected nothing. julie, if that's who we are talkin about, needs to take charge and do it.

Anyone good at anything earns my respect. Fact is though, if I am ever counting on a dog or anything that even remotely has to do with chasing racoons with a dog to define me as a person and earn the respect of others, I really need to take a long hard look at other aspects of my life.

i have asked multiple questions as you all know, just to get a smart a&& quip about how much they knew and i didnt. most of those people were asking similar questions as mine , the average of, 6 years ago according to the search on their posts.
