Barry,
Talked to Troy Young and he said that he has been hunting with Jeff Grants young male out of LuLu x TurK (Littermate to Jethro). Troy says that the pup is definately a keeper, goes hunting all the way with the old dogs, opens up some on track, and blows the top out of the tree. Jeff is real excited about his pup and trying to get him in the woods as much as possible. Oh yea he has only been to the woods 5 times and improving each night.........Tim

Tim, I think Barry sold Jethro. I'm not sure who to. Barry let Tim know where he went when you get a chance. Tim we really like our male out of Turk. He is going to make a tree dog from what we see. I'll keep you posted. Lance

tyler inmann in jasper, al has one( bought at ao from jeff) . shannon clarke in oxford, al has the other(jethro). i've tried to get in touch with shannon with no success. i asked him to keep me updated on him. tyler says the other young dog isnt doing much but will hunt.

jethro should make it just fine. he was running track alone just not treeing. he just needs wood time something i couldnt give him right now and right now is when he needs it. so i though it best to get him to someone that could.

Tim, I am doing great! All of my salsa is gone and it was really good. I shared my peppers with my brother and sister. They both called me crying about how hot they were. I told them to drink milk then laughed. I want to thank y'all for letting us eat Thanksgiving with your family. I most enjoyed listening to your mom talk about her boys. She was so proud of her boys. I am truly sorry to hear about your mom. We will be praying for y'all. Dana

Are you going to the Winter Classic? If so I will try to remember to bring you some Salsa (the HOT STUFF). If everything goes right I plan on getting down to the hunt, I will just be donating but might get a chance to hunt with a good dog..........Tim

Tim, Barry, We haven't even discussed it. I know we are going to the bboa
florida hunt and bluetick days. The only negative about winter classic is the 2.5 hour drive before you even turn the dogs loose sometimes. The other negative is hunting planted pines sometimes. If you guys go we will probably make the trip.

Hunts

We may go to winter classic to work the Bboa booth and hang out with Hutch, Tim, and Barry. I don't think Brooks is going this year. Who knows who's going so far. Hope to meet many others there.

Lance & Dana I will keep you posted on our litter mate pups out of Mad Dog Sage X Mad Dog Peggy. We took the male pup out last week, he went 230 yards with our older dog. Never came back to us. They were hung up on a root ball by the creek, it could have been a den. The pup was barking right along with the other dog. Not to bad for a 6 month old pup.

Right now is not the best time to be messing with pups. With the snow and ice on the ground it's hard on them. I may wait til spring. Later,

Pups

Brad that's great. I would have prefered him to not be bred that young but no harm no foul so far. We certainly want to keep up with the pups. I've always heard good things about the Hazel Hill hounds and we are glad you have the pups. That should be a good cross.

For the last two pups that Guy Houx had left out of the litter they are not culls. They are put together right. Lets just hope they make our kind of dog. I will keep you posted.

Yeah, mostly anymore Hazel Hill dogs are pleasure hunted. Their are some with titles. But we would like to see more with titles before their names. We got to keep it going for Grandpa. Talk with ya later,

Winter Classic

It is looking as if Bryan and Penny (Mad dog north) will be flying in to go with us to winter classic. We are excited that they are coming. I guess that Jazzed up is going to wc.
