Blast From The Past

I was looking for something else and found this!!!!!! I can't believe that 7 years has gone by. Dixie, Fanny, Kate, Jackie and Music are all gone now.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 04-03-2015 04:43 PM:

I am just killin time in between my birthing duties today and I saw this.
And y'all think that arguments/disagreements on the interweb are something new. They have been going on for some time.
Has the "Top Five Females List" changed any? And whatever happened to "Beaver Creek Redbones"? And who is that Joe Maitland guy? Whatever happened to him? And does anyone know who all showed up at that 2005 National Redbone Days and if any of them did any winning? I think that it was in Brazil that year.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 06-22-2015 05:51 PM:

Well, it has been another year. Who are the top 5 Redbone females still living now? Do they go back to any of the top 5 females listed from yesteryear? What has happened to the big rivalrys from the past? Has everyone teamed up and started working together now? It is a shame that James is no longer with us. I can still remember National Redbone Days in Brazil in 2005 and Holmesville in 2006. They really were a great time and a couple of super tuff hunts. Jackpot Jackie was the Female Champion in '05 and Mike Young's Lucy won in '06. But Fanny was the high scoring female on Sat night in '05. In '06 Sally was the high scoring female on Thursday night and Fanny won 7th place. They didn't hunt Jackie that year.

Posted by Corey Gruver on 06-22-2015 07:37 PM:

I'd be interested to see that list as well

Mike that sounds like you had quite a weekend also. Kelly is Murph going to be there? I drew out with Jessie on Thursday night at ARDS this year and she put on quite a show. Larry Walker says that he isn't coming. Maitland is in South Dakota and Darrin is on the Professional Softball Circuit this summer. I guess that you will have to make 4 more picks.

Posted by Sawblade on 06-23-2015 04:34 PM:

Hmmm

Well let's see,
There's the Va.Cartel and the Moonlite Outrlaw Crew, Maybe one of these power groups will take both the Highscore and Opposite sex. Crazy will be there with several dogs I'm sure and then there are always the one dog, one team member folks that sneek in and surprise everyone.
Maybe we will see some of those Rocky/Bembe dogs show up.

Griffith

Seems like he is always gunning to win the big hunts. Wonder if he'll bring his new dog.

Of course he will.

New "list" would have to include:
Callie
Toadie
Cherry Bomb
Freak

Any others?

Whatever happened to Gr Nt Ch Brewin's Miss Piggy? Is she still alive? She was a nice hound and a big winner back in "her day".

Posted by ahallada on 06-23-2015 06:55 PM:

I'll put my money on Nt.Ch. Moonlight Road Tripp for this one! But I'll take GrNtCh Outlaw Cherry Bomb as my backup! haha

I did predict the winner of the US Open Golf Championship and runner up so I'm kinda on a roll!

If it's the female I hunted with back around the first of the year, she should be a handful now. I liked her a lot

I got to see Miss Piggy this weekend but she was in heat. Cherry Bomb and Freak stayed home but Toadie was there.

Richard,

I told Keith about this post. I said Lambert must think you have a 50-50 shot of winning Redbone Days since you have Toadie and Cherry Bomb on the list.

I guess you were right!
