Thank you guys! I must say Smoke is one good looking hound!I'm really hoping to get my hands on a dog that willl look good on a bench too. I love the shows almost as much as the hunting! And bench shows are a great starting point for youth to get involved.

Ill definitely keep in touch- got to put aside some cash for a pup! Going to take me a little bit though- you all know how this economy is! Especially as a parent!

And by the way you're 100% correct about the success of dogs beig reliant on correct handling by good owners!

Nice looking dog! I usually like them blanket and saddle backs but the best female I ever had was an open spotted gyp- she was just a little bitty thing. Her sire was Loomacres Rocky Mtn Jasper.

MountainMama,You mentioning Jasper sure is a blast from the past and makes me realize time sure does fly by, I drew Jasper in a few hunts before he won the World Hunt he was a nice hound and Jasper threw some nice hounds.

Tim, Ya never know what's Next. OOOO wait yes u do LOL !! Still working on the deal sure hope to make it happen and man it sure is Amazing what ya can find tucked away in no mans land behind the barn.

Yes I loved that lil Jasper gyp. She was an honest hound. Her dam was Loomacres Abigail out of Pac Man. I had a couple locally bred dogs too, and a male out of So Fork River Jammin Mundar and Kansas City Royal. All good dogs. I definitely miss having hounds, its been too long!

Tonight is the last night of the season here in Virginia. It's been a solid season for us and for Nite Ch 'PR' Candy's Stylish Swag. We've battled extremely cold weather and snow but we looked at more coons than we ever have.

We've made lots of good memories but more importantly, met lots of new folks and made new friends.

This was Swag with the 200th coon we treed this past year during the month of December.

Luckily, we can chase them year-round so we wont be slowing up very much. Got a few pups to get trained but more importantly, got a couple of nice dogs to fine tune before the summer months.

Got another cast win this past Friday night with Swag. Of course the other NiteCh cast came back with 400+....

We should have won Thursday night in a PKC hunt. On the first drop, Swag and two other dogs treed together in a den. On the next drop, I let the ball drop on a strike call. Swag struck first but I hesitated a second too long and got beat. The other dogs trailed around a hillside and treed. Swag wouldn't back them. With 3 minutes left in the hunt, Swag split about 100 yards from them. Everyone had a coon but I was holding 2nd strike. You live and learn!!

Hope everything is going well for ya'll. Swaggy has been looking TOUGH in the last 4 hunts he's been in.

Simon I promise you that Swag has plenty of Winning ahead of him, I talked to the gentleman that had his sister bout week ago and he says very very independent , Rather do her own thing and can Flat Fly on a track. This is no suprise to me cuz unless something Hitchikes Smoke or Candy you will find them ALONE SOMEWHERE !! Again all I can say to each n everyone hunting a Smoke Pup is THANK YOU !! This game is Impossible without each n everyone being good hunters and sportsman holding the leash.

Thanks Andrews, Smoke or Candy may be two of the Best Coon Treeing Hounds Period!! Iv hunted with Swag and liked what I seen, as soon as I get time and a break in this crazy weather I won't to hunt with him again, now I know what Whiteys weak an strong traits are and I also know what I'm looking for, now I'm still learning but I do know its a little more to it than just putting Two Coon Hounds together, Anyway it I was looking for a Super Nice Bred Pup I would be getting on the list.

Swaggy put on a show last night. We drew several of the guys in the state top 16 including one in the top 5. Needless to say, Swag picked up another PKC win.

I like what I see! I appreciate ya'lls support and help! I wouldn't have the horsepower if it weren't for ya'll. If he ends up with 1/2 of the horsepower his parents have then maybe i'll have something!
