well I went back to look at the turnips in the food plot..just found the first dead deer ..blue tongue...little fork horn buck...so it begins..I wondered if all this heat and dry weather would make it rear its ugly head....

I imagine their is going to be a lot of dead deer this year Rex. Especially the little ones. This heat is some thing else. What I am afraid now is fires. It is so dry and if we don't get rain soon someone is going make a bad mistake and start one.

I was thinkin' the same thing Mike----and we could only hope that happens Spotty. A nice drizzlin' shower would do wonders. Don't you fellers think this is most likely gonna take a toll on all wildlife? I don't know how many minnows died in the creek. The farmers will harvest early this year, which means fall tillage and a lot of burried corn.

It is going to change every thing. I am dreading this winter if we don't get some moisture soon.

Good for you Mike--I didn't go but the son and his buddy went--seen 'em but no shots way up high and were movin' around like crazy. Hot out now and humid, will be glad when the cool front comes in. Glad I didn't go to Autumn Oaks now. Went with the squaw to town to get vidells---gotta keep her off of the war path.

It blowing and dark skies and thundering. But no rain yet. Went to town to SUBWAY and got a chef salad for supper tonight. It was 99 degrees here 30 minutes ago. Hate this weather.

i didnt have the heart to post ,,but we had a nice little drizzle here around 4 then a frog strangler came through near 6 oclock ,,,havent looked out for awhile been busy channel surfing between games .

Mikey,its 10:20 and I'm finally getting rain have had a half inch so far and its still raining,Chuck I watched the LSU and the Ducks..its been an entertaining game..
