thanks guys, I usally dont drink sweet tea, wasnt brought up on it, but I like good food, not that stuff found in any restraunt, home cooking! had some more of that johnny cake today, she makes it so good, with bacon and cream corn in it, mmmm love it! and the pea soup has to have whole pea's and smoked ham shanks in it!

I agree...Johnny Cakes sounds kinda like that term the yankees use for us called Johhny Reb! I never heard tell of Johnny Cakes! What ya make em out of soured cabbage? Might be a northern version of grits... I don't know!

I wouldn't shoot one of them things for him. A deer roast ain't bad though. Got another nice cool morning going here. Fair and 56. Great weather. Gonna get another shot from the north this weekend! Might drop into the 40's!
