There are 16 pups out of Riptide. What we know is our first litter the one I kept was 16 months old when he got killed on a road, plans was to hunt him in the round up but that did not get to happen. For 16 months he was about as good as we ever had at that age. One other has 2 first place wins and another one we know of got 4th in the ACHA little world hunt but not know if he has any other wins. Our second one we kept is no longer with us! We do know a few others are doing pretty good from what know but have not hunted with them. We do know they were in some regards like Riptide, they started young, had coons and was junk free and some had quirks like Riptide. We had several chances to breed him but the way we look at it if you would not hunt a pup out of the bitch do not breed to them. Riptide will be 8 in April and is not hunted much but he will still have a coon on about every tree and has never junked on us nor can anyone pleasure hunting or in any hunts say they ever seen him do so, that is worth a ton for me, besides he is the only the second hound in my 62 years to ever stay here that long. They either get with the program or else, no two year old pups or 2 year old maybes. See what you did Jerry, you got me off track! LOL!

Breed to (2) Grand nights and one PR bitch.

Yeah dad is a little old schooled on breeding. But if we find the right bitch we may breed him one more time but it would have to be the right kinda bitch to get us to breed him agian. As we ain't looking as the alot of pup we are looking to produce the right kind of pup.

Well I got the hounds wormed out with Interceptor plus, Simparica for fleas and ticks and Last but not least I feel the best, Seresto collars. We are due to get some more bad weather coming in tonight and wanted the hounds done. I like to get them off everything for a couple months and give thier system a break. Done it for years and have no heart worms or other issues. Cheap insurance, plus a lot less expensive than a big vet bill.

Well it looks like the Cross of Misfire and Botox is finally happening! Looking forward in keeping a female from this cross. Two proven winners and most of all Two coon dogs!
