I would like to think I have a couple of hounds that fit their title but may just be kidding myself . All mine mind better than my kids, but than again maybe my kids are brats lol. I enjoy hunting then and ain't went home mad it them in a couple nights anyhow. Thanks again for being straight up.

Bubba / Misfire pups, having one picked up Friday July 27th and headed to Central Ohio. This one should have good coon exposure. Could be second one leaving next Friday as well. One headed too Georgia soon. Two females left and one male.

Took the old man last night and had a pretty good hunt. Try to get the old boy out every once in a while to stretch his legs!

We currently have one nice male pup left. Colored up like Misfire and looks like a hound should. Other pups will be in Indiana, Ohio, Georgia and Iowa.

We currently have one nice male pup left. The two females headed to Iowa. Male pup is Colored up like Misfire and looks like a hound should. Other pups will be in Indiana, Ohio, Georgia and Iowa.

Hunted last night and it was brite and very pleasant for this time of the year. Coming in this morning it showed 56 degrees. It did not help with coons moving. Dumped Horn and Riptide seperate and never got a bark. Next drop we Dropped Horn in one woods and Riptide in another woods. Riptide covered the woods and never made a bark. Horn never made a track bark but did roll in there and treed one in a big maple tree along and corn field but never ran any track. Would have thought everyting would have been moving but that was not the case!

We hit the road to Kentucky tonight and had what I call a very good hunt. We took Horn and Ol Riptide fat and out of shape but let me tell you the old boy is still as accurate as they can be. About time to start taking the pups once in a while as soon as the Indiana season opens.

First dump split and both had the meat Horn had two ups his and Riptide had one! No pressure here huh?

Second dump Riptide by himself deep and lonely, older he gets the less he wants anything with him!

Third dump, Horn getting his share!

Horn by a cow lot about 200 yards with the meat, Ol Riptide a little jealous and went on through the section and not a bark. Drove around and headed him off.

Last dump we do not know, drove around and found them tree together, what a surprise! More meat!

Dropped Riptide tonight along with Anderson River and he never looked back, treed right at a mile with the meat. Not bad for a fat and out of shape old boy! That old brite moon made for a tough going tonight, tracks hard to come by!

Hunted Riptide and Spike tonight and so far we have only ran three tracks, hard to come by and nothing under .7 and not good for a young one. Seen one coon, one den and on they missed on, was not a good track but when they treed I did looked pretty hard as Riptide does not miss much. Don't hunt him much so I will cut him some slack!
