Would you attend a UKC bench show that gave $money$ instead of trophies?

Sick Leave

I urgently needed a few days off work, but, I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave.

I thought that maybe if I acted 'Crazy' then he would tell me to take a few days off.

So I hung upside-down on the ceiling and made funny noises.

My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was doing.

I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss might think I was 'Crazy' and give me a few days off.

A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked, 'What are you doing?'

I told him I was a light bulb.

He said, 'You are clearly stressed out.' Go home and recuperate for a couple of days.'

I jumped down and walked out of the office...

When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her, '..And where do you think you're going?!'

You're gonna lovethis....)
She said, 'I'm going home, too. I can't work in the dark

FUNNY stuff James, You too Shannon. It has gotten hard over the yrs to understand the newer doctors. Even worse they are YOUNGER than my oldest son now sometimes too lol! Molly sounds awesome! Love her voice right as the vid. trails off..........
Had a nice day today since it was gorgeous out AND I got a decent nap in the am(after NO sleep last night...lol)... Web got a booboo on one of his pads and cut our walk short... go figure! FOund a FREE bookcase on craiglist... 9 ft wide, 7 ft tall and all wood! FREE! Bob picked it up on the way home and we moved it in together... HEAVY so I'm a bit sore but man was it a score! We are having fantastic time with the list and will have plenty to get rid of free or sell...once we can move into the additions...if ever...lol.. SO much stuff packed we wont want...BOOKS are a favorite thing here though so a nice custom made bookcase...SCORE! lol...

Morning all,
Been busy lately not been able to post.
Yesterday I spent deskunking my dog lot and puppies. Somehow a skunk got in the lot with the pups. They woke us up about 4:30 yesterday morning screaming. Got down there and the skunk was on top of them and they would be on top of the skunk. One good thing they never backed down and held there own for 9 weeks old. Now I can sit and laugh about it. That is the last dog lot the skunk will enter.
Treed two last night, not bad at all. Alot of walking though the dogs did not tree closer than 400 yds all night. First drop .5 mile. 2nd drop 580 and third drop around 600.
I get excited every year for opening night however I never shoot any out any ways.LOL.

Morning All

First drop hot driving track den with Rickey looking out the hole not tonight boys I made it home safe

Second drop pure trouble a tough walk well over a mile round trip across the mountain threw a timbered section full of laps across the hollow and up the other side I was ringing wet with sweat and covered up with what I call seed ticks got home and took a shower got in bed and about 1:30 I woke up to the strangest scream I think I ever heard I get up and go to the window listening trying to figure it out My wife you never hears anything says what is that I have no clue I say she says well yell at it yell at it crap I have got to go see what this is I grab my spotlight off my hunting vest and head out the back door threw the woods till I right on top of it I turn my spot light on nothing there and its stops screaming look all around up in the trees nothing walk out the ridge nothing so I head back to bed bed get bed and it starts again wife says now what I said I going to sleep it must be more afraid of me than I am of it she says what if it tryes to come in the house I said well I do not know but if you want I will go down and lock the door

PTT... lol on the skunk... poor pups and YOU! I'm real glad it was not a situation where the pups were injured at all!! It was a SUPER find on the book case and I avoided craigslist today as a break...but I sewed all morning... a project for mum... I was handsewing 2 drapery tie backs with OLD cloth that is fragile and rotting... I used so much thread I'm GLAD she is legally blind! LOL... I think they will last as long as she will now though! After I did that I crashed for a couple hours and woke to a nice walk with Webster.... beautiful day, about 60 or so but nice.... Not many days like that left.

Alll,
I am asking for your thoughts and prayer for Justin and my family. I just found out the skunk was positive for rabies. Without dealing with all the red tape we are going to have to put all the pups down due to exposure to the skunk. I know there are a couple that have some small open wounds and feel that this is the best thing for the puppies.

Prayers for all in need.
